I am still wondering if this a bug. Pretty much all weaker teams are winning more faceoffs. This doesn't make any sense. Look at the Nat cup results.
We are Canadians. We are nice. Perhaps we are letting them win faceoffs so they at least win something
Wow, I just checked the top 10 games quickly in the Natl Cup.
In EVERY game the team that lost the game won the most faceoffs.

Yeah, another good example, I beat a team 8-1, and outshot them 33-6, yet they won 30 faceoffs to my 25.
you think about it though. Right after the draw no matter who wins it there is usually a fight for the puck by the wingers. So yes the Timbit team might win the draw but the superior team will just have a skater fly behind the centremen and take control of the puck
Yeah, in the Montreal-Washington series, Washington won the wide majority of the draws, cleanly, and dominated in shots, but Montreal won the series....
as with what TheChad said, winning faceoffs does = puck possesion, which means the weaker teams should be doing better against the stronger teams, but after that, it doesnt make sense...
not necessarily, you can win it, but you can't always win cleanly straight back to your d-man, thats win your wingers must control the puck. But better players are able to out fight the wingers and steal control of the puck. So you can win the draw but you might get out fought for it.
example. During the Montreal game where the 4th line was on for the faceoffs right outside the Montreal Blue line. The Canadians won the draw but the hustle by the Penguins, let them take control of the puck right away and pass to a streaking Cook for a goal.
