me too. seriously. if you play all four sports, it seems like you're just endlessly scouting people. it's pretty obnoxious.
I'm kind of bummed that Sağanalp Atar is going to cost me more money when his contract comes up in a few days.
I've rather enjoyed paying him only $14/day lol. He's been on my team for 107 days, and has earned less than $1,500 TOTAL. Talk about minimum wage...

Hmmm... weird game today... Vince Langley , my defensive wing, had almost as many goals (9) as all 3 of my offensive backs combined. I guess the fast break was working today, but he was kind of a stat killer for my offensive guys.
In other news, I just closed on an auction for Hrvoje Mujagić . $10m is the most I've ever paid for a player (and is just shy of the total I've paid for ALL of the players I've bought on the market until this point), but this guy's AQ is better than every other player in the U.S., so I made the leap. His OR is a bit on the low side for a 16-year old, but I should have my level 15 TF completed by the end of next season, so hopefully he'll catch up to his peers quickly enough. This is definitely more of a long-term move, as I'll be looking to start using him in 2-3 seasons once some of my starters start dropping to 3/6 CL, but I think it was worth it.

There it too many problems with the draft to describe. What is the point of having a "diamond" D player when...even when he's scouted you don't know he's a diamond!? I could understand if you have a higher scouting %age or department those diamonds show up, but from what I understand that is not the case.
You just reminded me that the hockey draft is about start. I have the first pick and will draft an A+ caliber player. I have max scouting and max sports academy/youth training.
Always wished that the attributes % would change for -5 to +10 at 18 so you would truly know then.
Hence a diamond in the rough

Love that idea... the market would be crazy though... how would you value 17 year olds?
The hockey draft is always so "womp womp" for me.
A players still turn out pretty crappy in hockey for some reason. Perhaps because players only really need to train 3-4 stat categories. I dunno. I seem to always get A players in hockey that are average at best.

Such a good match between [handball_team=19769] and me. I swear, our games always come down the wire. Win or lose, they always seem to end up being nail-biters.
I need some motivation to keep going. I have not kept up with news and had no idea the devs have given up on this game.
All they are doing now is trying to get money to fund another project.
So, it looks like that worthless draft system is never going away.
I seriously think I am done after this season.

To be fair, I'm not sure if PPM would actually benefit from creating more sports. Pro packs aren't cheap. I doubt many people are going to purchase and maintain propacks for all sports if they continue adding more sports, so the potential profit from adding new sports should decrease as the number of sports grows. In addition, new sports are largely the same as old sports, so new sports aren't too likely to encourage older players to purchase additional pro packs. They could hope that new sports might attract a new base of managers, but it doesn't seem like that was really the case with basketball. Basketball should feasibly have been attractive to potential United States managers, but the United States isn't really any larger in basketball than in hockey.
It will be disappointing if they will not continue to perfect the existing sports though. At the very least, I suppose my teams may begin to move up the rankings faster if the rate of attrition increases.

I wish they would take what they have figured out and reboot hockey. Do not allow any new teams to the old engine after a specific season and then run the new one in parallel. Pro pack pays for both hockey games. Then just let the old one die off as teams cancel. The schedule of handball, the game engine and player training from basketball, The game summary from basketball and soccer. The positioning from soccer. That would be a good game. One draft end of the season based on final standings. A farm team where you call up players and if you send them down they go through the wavier system. All teams start with the exact same total OR and total quality , ( which was horrible in basketball )and every new team starts at this level as well. Hidden gems increase in quality and higher OR.
I thought at one point they said they were going to do a second hockey engine. And while I would like to get baseball at some point, I think cap's point is valid.
The only downside I see to your idea, is that it may take getting an extra server to handle the workload until the first hockey engine completely dies away. Not so sure about the farm team though, that's a very Americanized team/league structure that I'm not sure they have in Europe.

This is the problem with ladder games with no ladder resets or endgame content. I think it's crazy how carefree ppm mgmt has been about doing something about this. I've gotta believe that their revenue is falling by the quarter along with their userbase.
Vlady said a few weeks ago that they will not work on new sports anymore. He said they will keep the current sports and just fix bugs when they appear. Their main priority going forward are those duel games.
