I've noticed my player on the NT who plays (I have a player on the NT but not in the lineup) had a decent bonus for the day after. It wasn't quite what some of you guys say; my mental math says it's near brotherke's figures of about 10-15%. He went up from about +.74 to about +.88, or something like that.
Basically you didn't answer his question and tried to add a correction where it wasn't due. He wasn't suggesting there was any number other then 35.
When there`s gonna be more teams there`s gonna be more in 2nd division, logical. If you think that such division system is crap, write to IIHF president, cause it`s exactly the system, which we have in real life.
The cats BACK!!! OH YA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there might be a small bonus - even when I look at my guys it's not too apparent though.
maybe I'm just not getting too lucky here.

Are you referring to training bonus? There definitely is. My guy trains .55/day when he plays, higher when he doesn't and just trained .82 today.
I'm getting about a 20% improvement. Had a guy in training camp, didn't play in the national team game and still got about 20% more than his other TC days.
That's great info regarding the training guys. Thanks!
I can't decide if this training bonus is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess that's a matter of perspective and a discussion for another day in another thread.

The IIHF uses this format:
For Top Division (16 teams)
A) 4 groups of 4 play round robin 3 games, with top 3 in each group advancing to (B), while 4th team goes to relegation (D)
B) 2 groups of 6, with each group made of 3 teams from 2 first round groups (A), who carry their match results against the other two forward, and play 3 matches against the teams from the other group.
C) Top 4 in each group advance to quarterfinals, with winners playing in semifinals. Winners in semifinals play for championship, losers play for 3rd place.
So that is 9 matches.
D) 4th place teams from (A) play round robin relegation group, with bottom two relegating. So these teams play 6 matches.
So overall teams play:
6 matches, 8 teams (relegation group (D), plus bottom 4 from (B).
7 matches, 4 teams (quarterfinal losers)
9 matches, 4 teams (championship or 3rd place match)
The 2nd division (which is called Division I by IIHF) has 12 teams, they are divided into two groups of 6. Each group plays a round robin of 5 matches, These groups are totally independent - they are played in different countries. The 1st place teams promote to the Top Division, the 6th place teams relegate to Division II.
The IIHF has a Division II of 12 teams that use the same format as Division I, and then a division III which is everyone else - and depends on who enters each year.
Since PPM has 35 countries, it doesn't have a full D II, and no D III. So PPM D II will probably play a round robin format for 7 teams, or possibly could be split into 2 groups of 4 and 3.
