agree but only in part. a new team shouldnt be able to compete with a top div 1 team. butr they shiuldnt have to play for two real years to be able to either. 6 months could even be too long.
i know this disadvantages those who stasrted earlier but what are you worried about? that someone might actually be a better manager than you and deserve to be at the top on skill not just cause they have played since beta?

I agree with you completely. Make that 6 months 2 full seasons (approx 7 and a bit months) and it's pretty fair. That 2 seasons would of course assume they are working hard to improve their team, so not "all" people should do it that fast.
But yes, i absolutely agree.

Well newbies could catch up eventually, or let say - be dramatically closer comparing with current situation. Only problem is day trading as you mentioned, but what could be so wrong with newbies - day traders ? If you want to be day trader, you must spend a lot time here, and spending lot of time on your team only makes it stronger
And if I recall right, PPM was daytrading paradise in first season, don't know actually when they implemented taxes which last 112 days on your sold players. So minding that - some managers built their teams extraordinary thanks to day trading, and now they are strongest around.

I think it would be great to implent the date of birth in the game. The date of birth would be the day the players went out of the academy.
What do you think about it ?

I am not sure if there is one or not, but a search facility for forums. That way, we could look to see what other people's thoughts were about something, or if someone had asked the same question before, without trawling through forums that MAY have the answer we need

I'd love to see direct links to the live broadcasts at the results page
Right now if you want to follow a live match you need to go to the team, then his calendar, and then pick the live, why not just putting the direct links there ?
hockey.powerplaymanager.c...
this page... Why add to TV schedule ?

It would be nice to see your line and tactic settings in READ ONLY mode instead of blank page with text "You cannot make any changes ...".
I know this will be unpopular among those with Pro Packs, but the automated practice, automatic training and multiple tactics should be part of the standard package.
As things are, without purchasing a Pro Pack it is excruciating to develop players and to run different lineups for friendly and league matches.
Pro Pack should give customization options, and detailed statistics and analysis of current and past seasons. Basically a richer set of information and experience, but not additional management options.
If you want the user base to grow you have to make the game more accessible and those three options make it much less of a chore to manage a team and compete.

Oh I need that automated practice in soccer so badly, since I don't have enthusiasm to pay PRO.
As it stands now, if you can not check in every day and spend a decent amount of time changing lineups and practice schedules you will end up with players that are not trained well and you will lose games or energy because you didn't put the right team out on the ice/field.
That much effort, every single day is too much. It becomes tedious and people leave.
And to do it for two sports, forgetaboutit.

Thats why I bought the pro pack, but this game is crippling if you don't have it and that means it won't grow as fast as it should/could.
Thats my point. The game is practically unplayable in its free form.
I still believe that Pro Pack owners need to get more credit free features, but I think it needs to be in the form of statistics, analysis tools, and customization options. Not core game play mechanics.

I know, I've played against you a ton!
I think I just approach the game differently and maybe because I tend to micromanage in any game I'm in, I put more effort into it than others.
And before people say, but you suck, your team OR is so much lower than all your other peers that have managed for as long let me just say that I've been tweaking my process over many seasons and was finally satisfied with how to train and develop my players during last seasons run. Some of my schemes in the past didn't pan out and it always takes time to recover from development mistakes.
I'm not saying I'm a great manager, just different. And without the Pro Pack I can't manage my team the way I want.
