Glad the better teams finally put us in our place. Still need improvements in the team obviously to compete for the playoffs.

Last week In Review:

After defeating the Tomahawks by a score of 12-0 the Sound Tigers faced a serious challenge in the form of BOF Devils on Feb 12.

The Game was a stalemate for the first two periods. Chances favored the Sound Tigers greatly however they couldn't find a way past goalie Gilbert Cowans who played well, making 37 Saves on 40 shots.

Early in the 3rd period the Sound Tigers would make the breakthrough in the form of Will Chilleman burying on the rebound on a point shot that came from Žika Mitić who was credited with the assist. 2 minutes later, the Tigers would double the lead through new acquisition Donny Grant . Grant would score his first goal for the team on a nice feed from team leading scorer Andrew Green . The nail in the coffin came 4 minutes from the final horn when Defenseman Dillan Charbonneau scored on bomb of a point shot.Green picked up an assist as did Alexander Lemeshev .

Goaltender Juhani Ojanen stopped all 21 Devil shots on his way to his 6th shutout of the season

going well rampage, theres what looks to be a 4 team race for the cup right now with Wings or Rochester being the most likely winners

mj dont be afraid to brag, ask Kelly I did it all year till rampage killed me in the playoffs lol

lol Tyler, I've just played enough of these types of games and it seems that the bottom always falls out at some point. So I'm just waiting for that to happen. .. hey jd I miss your long post, I thought they were great, keep on posting.

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have acquired veteran French Center Christian Lesieux .

The 32 year old made his senior debut during Season 6 with loudia hockey where he would score a career high 61 points 2 seasons later. During season 12 he made a 14.5 million dollar move to Slovakian team HK PlayboySecurity Poprad . He would spend 11 seasons there,consistently scoring 20+ points a season. This season HK PlayboySecurity Poprad looked to move on some of their veteran players including Lesieux. The Sound Tigers GM jumped at the opportunity to add more experience to a young team looking to make a serious run at the playoffs.

The GM was quoted as saying that due to his age and other factors including wanting to get young players more in game time as well, that Lesieux would be used 'as necessary' during the regular season, in order to keep him fresh for the playoff run."
