More than a third of the players in the I.1 draft were B's. In a sport like hockey that has been around for a while, very few of these players will be worthwhile to the better teams, most likely.
I don't see why a player has to be worth 1 million to sell. I regularly sell players for a few tens of thousands, and if a player is worth a million, then it is probably one of the very few players I keep every season.
I think the draft is going to be a much bigger deal in handball. In handball, a 3 star player with even 70 AQ and decent OR is still very rare. Drafting 3 players with 80 EQ in handball 4 times per season could be a very big deal, at least for now.

So my question with this draft is once it's over and all the A,B,C,D are shown. Is that the real score is that just what my SA says? I mean I looked at all of them and only saw 1 A, my 1st pick Calvin Budd. So is everyone seeing that or are we still at the point where I see an A, Rochester sees a B, etc? (after the draft, like right now looking at the results)
I'm seeing a B for Budd, but an A for Wheeler and Root.
Ok, so those scores aren't final. Guess it's just a matter of seeing what the scout at now.
I don't sell players for less than a million in hockey or soccer at this point because the extra player transfer fees from going over 10 per season will cost me more when I sell a guy for tens of millions than I made from selling a bunch of guys for 10k-100k.
That makes sense. I guess that I don't often sell many players (other than really cheap players) at this point, but it would probably be a good policy for the future.
before we drop players we need to collect information about their qualities and stars and compile a list to better understand the draft.
if anyone wants to submit to me, feel free. I will post the results.

My 3 picks that I scouted all came back at 3.5 stars. One has an overall that is too low to sign. Will probably take a shot at the other 2.
Whoops... already did it. Calvin Budd was a 26x - 3.5 star C, 3 star W. Vito Hightower was a 250 - 3 star W, the other guy was 1.5-2 stars everyting else.
Round 1; Pick 4: C, B, 5/6, L; 3.5*, 314 OR (Bryan Root)
Round 2; Pick 37: W, B, 6/6, L; 2.5*, 277 OR (Mark Sullivan)
Round 3; Pick ??: D, B, 6/6, L; 3*, 234 OR (Millard Reno)
Round 4; Pick ??: D, B, 6/6, L; 3.5*, 371 OR (Pete something... Rudd? Russ?)
Yep. I got my best player in round 4. And I almost didn't pick him. In the 3rd round, I still had 3 Bs left. I took a gamble on Reno (teehee), then started looking at the unscouted players hoping to find the gem.
