Well, news flash, under the changed-again draft the draft pool is going back down to what it was so we'll be back to 2-3 star players per draft which is twice a season. Now, in reality, around 25% of teams will draft a good player each season.
But whats your opinion about skip YA level in 2 drafts... and giva ALL users the same chanse ?
YA is the big problem in the drafts...
The most people would love to see more info about the youngsters and the only who STOP that is the users YA... the youngster dont shows before you press the button "Show new youthplayers".
More players in the pool... and DONT SHOW CL !!
But when you have scouted the player... give the right information.. show the player how he looks like immidiently.
Maybe 500 players in a pool.... A pool who is for the season... and we can scout them with the scouts/managers we already have.. !
That makes as take a decision... scout youngsters or scout players ? Or doing the both..
One draft in the middle and one drafts in the end. The last players coming day 1 next season.
All other weeks could the draws be as it use to be.
Sorry for bad english... but I have 100 ideas...

Ideas are great, but for every good idea you have there'll be a tonne of people who get angry about it. I'm done with ideas, but don't let that stop you!

IMHO SA tends to lose any interest at all with these drafts. 2 drafts, no youngsters any way. Why bother to build infrastructure, pay the maintainance fee, and train (and pay) anybody for a very long time if you can buy it on the market at a very similar or much lower cost? Look what happened at hockey.
I would like to suggest the following rules:
a.) generate quality and rating values at the same time (but non of them would be public)
b.) ordering of scouted players at draft should be free for anyone
c.) in rounds ordering shall be in the reverse order of the season standings (the last be the first)
d.) one or at most two drafts shall take place at the end of the season such that newcomers only arrive at the beginning of the next season.
In that case, draft could be a (small not significant) force of equality between the teams, so the game would be more exciting (and inclusive), imho. On all others weeks, SA would function the same as it did before.

Hello everyone,
I'd like to know what happens with the newly created teams, how come they get players with high skills while I started with low-level players only a few months ago ?
I created my team in early January (towards the end of Season 12), and I received 18-19 years old players with an average total skill of 160.
My team is here : soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
Now, I've been promoted to D2, and I see teams which have been created in late May, and they have players with an average total skill of around... 400 !
You can take a look here : soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
Also here : soccer.powerplaymanager.c...
And these guys barely logged in one or twice and they got a stronger team than I have, while I've been playing for more than a season.
I know I won't last long in D2 with all the active teams there, but I don't even have the level of the inactive ones... How is that possible ?

The players your new team gets depends on the league you're in and the strength of your opponents. The goal is to have new teams not get destroyed too bad every game.
They did this in hockey awhile ago - it must have just happened in soccer.
I wouldn't recommend starting over. I would recommend turning to the market and getting your team strength up to start winning as much as you can. Don't go crazy, but get a full lineup of 700 OR players with good builds is my advice.

Well, it looks more like every new team got better players, because the 2 other teams I mentionned also come from D3, but were not created at the same time as mine.
It might be to avoid being crushed by the competition but that's not fair to the older ones.
Anyway, I'm not trying to play to win for the moment, I've chosen the youth path.
Thanks for you advice, I'll keep that in mind

That's a very tough road to go down given low-level facilities.
The training of my careertime 3/6 players reduced strong. from roundabout 100% of the skillquality down do 75%. the second day like this.
(means from f.e 0,99 down to 0,74 at quality 96)
is it new to reduce the training for careertime 3/6 more than last season?
its same for every player with this ct.
(okay, that arent that much in my team, whos been last season 3/6 too.)
and if, why didnt we get informated about this?
or is it just a bug?

There obviously are sub-levels to CL, so 3/6 is not always 3/6. Also, age plays a role in training, so now that your player is one year older he trains worse.
Btw, the negative effects of CL and age appear to be stronger when players get older.

a quarter in same CL and just one year older???
wth... is this serius?
havent ever recognized any difference in age before. CL was always CL in training...
