Seems to be an horrrrible draft indeed. No A's 3B's
Time to crank up the psychic powers and find that "hidden gem"!
I always just go for the funky name guys in those cases. I haven't hit yet, but more often than not it is a name that is odd and/or a name I can relate to. I know it is completely bogus as names and attys/Qs are random, but, this is the era of alternative facts - so deal with it.
Looking like the A(s) must be in the shorter 5/6 bravket this draft. How about 160cm 5/6 SF Charles Champman....is he the "A"?
By the way, I've maxed out my SD and SA - giving me as good of odds at top picks in the mid-season draft as possible. I plan to run with a young group of guys after a slow-and-systematic selloff of my roster. That should ensure I'm near the bottom of (presumably div2) for good picks in the year-end draft.
***This is only financially sustainable if the prospects I'm grooming sell for good money. I'll play them often and on VH to get their Exp up as much as possible. When sold, please bid generously. If I can't sustain this system financially, I'll fold the club.***

I do the same lol. Hidden gems are pure luck. If you get one, why not have one with a great name.
I have yet to get one and don't know of anyone who has. The point of them was to make it worth drafting beyond the first round. But, honestly, it has just made useful players less common.
Van Stefan
He was an hidden gem.
So it's probably an A type player. Sadly for Bullfrog, the guy is too small

He might make a decent SF, and is certainly a better draw than the countless "C"s and "D"s that seem to be the bulk of our draft choices. 5 more "D"s last night.
Well then, how good are everbody's "B"s going to turn out. Anything higher than a 3 1/2 star?
Nope. 2 x 3 1/2 and one is 5/6 unfortunately.
