I mean... you have to click the player to bid on him anyways... so I don't understand the problem?
It could be any number of things though. For example:
1) The time left on the player pay updates in pretty close to real time, but the time on the market list page updates when you do the search.
2) If someone bids on the player when there is less than 1 minute left in the auction, there is an extra minute added to the time. This can happen an infinite number of times, and can change the ending time quite a bit.
Seleccionar país: | Estados Unidos |
In the market you should see below each listed player the local time when their sale ends and in parenthesis the time remaining. When I moved I had to change my time zone in Profile -> Settings to make sure the local time was correct. This could be your problem.
Thx guys but i understand the basics. Lanky it is a problem because it's not accurate. I might pass on a player worthy of bidding due to the amount of time it says is remaining, or vice versa. It's not just one or two players, its all of them. If a player is listed as having say, 7 hours remaining but in reality its 13 minutes, thats a problem. Why should i have to click on players to see an accurate deadline time? And im not referring to the deadline time when someone bids at the last second and the counter goes back to 1 or 2 minutes. My timezone is correct, its never changed, so that would have nothing to do with it. Theres seems to be no uniformity in the amount of time that its off, some are 15 hours off, others 20 minutes off, it varies greatly. I dont understand how it is a simple program cannot maintain the correct time remaining.
Yeah, that's all weird then I guess. I've never personally had a problem with any of what you're describing.
Are you sorting the draft results? I know the draft results display by time remaining by default.
Maybe something gets wonky when you sort?

Yea its a mystery. It's been like this for ages, just curious if its just me, if it is then the issues on my end, i just don't have a clue what to do to correct it. I need to make a video of it and post it, it's completely whacked.
Sorry... I meant to say "MARKET results" not "draft results"
so much talk about the draft, I must've had it on my mind.

: ) I admit, ya had me wondering for a second. It doesn't seem to matter if i sort them or not. I've been flipping back and forth all afternoon looking at the market to see if i can find a common denominator as to why this is happening. Its not just that it indicates theres far ore time than there really is, some are the complete opposite. It appears theres 8 hours until deadline, i click on the person and the deadline could be in a couple of minutes. I saw one earlier that said deadline,on the main page, meaning time had run out for bidding. I clicked on it and there was something like 15 minutes left before deadline.
I think im going to make a short video of it and send it to Canuck357 or vlady. I swear im not losing my mind.lol

yeah... that sounds like a good idea.
I wonder if it's something bizarre like your system clock not automatically updating properly or something.
Have you noticed any issues with any other system clock related things? Calendar events in outlook, alarms, etc.?

Damn "edit" feature...
TYPO *** It may appear theres 8 minutes until deadline, i click on the person and the deadline could be in a couple of hours.
Times are merely examples.

No, i sure haven't. And that sounds logical, but what is perplexing is that IF my system clock were wrong, or say "off", then all the times in the market would or should,IMO, all be uniformly off.
I dunno, i know just enough about computers to be dangerous....to myself.

Is there any way to change the calendar (as its form is in hockey, soccer, and handball) so that the week stats on sunday (instead of ending on sunday)?
I swear that's how mine used to be, and its really throwing me off having the first day of each week be a Monday.

Always been Mon-Sun in PPM. And nope, no can do largely because the season starts on a Monday.
... why does that matter?
that's like saying... sorry, we can't have the calendar start on a sunday because sometimes the 1st of the month is on Friday.
What i'm talking about is a visual thing. I'm not saying the schedule or games need to be changed. I just want to see sunday as the first day of the week (as it is on EVERY SINGLE CALENDAR in America).
