Asunto: US National team

Definitely some excitement that's for sure... not so sure that same excitement is translating over to the roster selections though

problem is... looks like the deadline does not exist in the first season or there is a bug.
players cant be dropped and I was expecting to be able to drop by the end of the week (14th day)

Tescasamoa: My thought was about the same as yours: i think 7m specialists would be more for teams, specially when we talk in game situations.

However, at playoffs where games can end on shootouts, those players can be handy. What i was questioning myself is: is it worth to carry among one of the 18 players.

Then think on what you just said .. i they have 150 shot ...
he is 91 already and all he trains is shooting.
at lets say 0.5 training (low number, im sure it is more than that) in one season he is 150. So, around playoff time he would be 150 shooting! and that is a tempting experimentation.

I found it is worth taking one of the 30 slots and have something to learn that could benefit us in the future.

From the guide:

"Players selected for the team after the first week of the season, cannot be dismissed during that season. Players selected in the previous seasons or by a previous manager can be dismissed until day 14 of the season."

No bug, working as intended.

The last few spots should go to the best (hopefully ~350+ OR) 15 year olds once the qualifiers approach, perhaps even a little whlie later.

yeah i read that today. but found weird cause there is the button to delete player and i was tricked it was just like we normally play: a week to drop after we take the job

i wanted to reserve 5 slots for this season pulls. now it will be 3.

i will wait for 370+ pulls

think about it, why even say about players cant be dismissed after a week when the manager is selected after the first week?

i think it makes sense the first rule when the the manager stayed and there was no elections ...

Well the question is: Who is willing to give up their player for this sort of experiment.

Exactly... I also think that the manager should be able to make changes any time in the season, isn't that how it works with real national teams

if you are talking about regular team, i have. I will do the same. if proves to be successfully i wont be way behind, if fails, i just need to train other attributes.

they are not allowed to make changes for would cups (finals). For qualification (and friendlies) they can change roster at any time.
It would be nice if ppm where the same way even though it is not always good idea to drop players as they lose chemistry and need to rebuild it in case he is added to roster again.

Yeah I agree although it is the decision of the manager if he wants the risk the chemistry against a better player

Geez how do you take down your candidacy... I acidentaly hit it and boom I didnt read over it or someone with the power of editing it must have done so. It is not like I am abusing Outsider who is for sure upset about his loss but this is a national team and it is for eveyone who would like to perticipate.

Well anayway...
As I am looking at our group for the WC, it seems that all of those teams are in good shape so far. Our opponent for this weekends game is Greece which we will host in the Team USA arena. The teams seem to have similliar rosters by OR.
