It might be a good idea to add any players from the Doppelgangers that might be of interest in the future to the NT's now. It looks like they are probably going to fold in the next two weeks.
going back down to the II leagues. Hopefully I'll be back soon! Seens like im just in a bad in between spot with a team too good for II but not good enough for I. I am just trying to build my facilities up to be sustainable, soon will hopefully add some free agents for the first time :p not sure how the financial hit will be, but with 500M saved up, Im sure I will be fine
That's a bummer, but it might be good for you to stay in the II league for 2-3 seasons to build up your facilities (mainly the HR center to get better sponsors). With HR center maxed you will get the best sponsors and then you can buy some players that will allow you to survive in the I.1 league and not destroy you financially. That's exactly what I did and I think it worked for me.
I see that your arena is maxed out, so you are probably getting a good amount of money from there.
Make sure you are financially strong (you have good sponsors) to be able to stay afloat financially with expensive players and then get to the I league.
Also try to keep your team score high, because that's what the sponsors like, and buy good managers for the time of hunting for a sponsor.
Good luck!

To stay in division II and win a lot of games for a better sponsor, it helps to play every game on very high match importance (you'll need a roster comparable or slightly better than the best teams in your league but not too much better).
Is Lanky gone for good? It would be a huge loss to our leagues and national team. His facilities were producing good players.
I believe he is. He expressed that he didn't really have any motivation to play anymore, and he was going to quit when his pro pack ran out (I think in August or October?). Looks like that time came a bit early.
And to add, it really is a loss! He's very good at strategies for building a successful team, and a genuinely nice guy.
Always sad to see another "good guy" pack it in!
Congrats to capsaicin on winning his 4th (?) League I.1 title overall in winning the playoffs this season!
Thank you!
This was my 4th title. I'm 3rd overall at the moment behind the Doppelgangers and Mojo Xpress who have 6 titles each. I was a bit worried since my offensive pivot (who is on the U.S. senior NT) was injured for the finals, and I had replaced my defensive pivot with a 22 year old prospect earlier this season.
I'm not sure how much of a chance I'll have to win again over the next few seasons. A lot of my better players are starting to seriously decline due to old age. I had to start getting rid of a bunch of them. My prospects probably need at least 3-4 more seasons to be able to take over and be competitive. In addition to the pballas, the Coin Flips and Cactus HC have both seemed to catch up.

Pballas just went dead in soccer, so I suspect they're dead in handball also (hadn't looked yet).
It's sad that we lost another top team, especially for the national teams. With that said, the Pballas have been almost folding and coming back at the last minute for a while, so there's a chance that the manager will come back minus a few NT players.
I hope the U.S. doesn't eventually end up getting folded into the Other World league.
