But are the players braindead.... It takes months to get up in % !!!
And they play every day

Not quite the same.
One only has 4 different basketball tactics to choose from, while in in hockey there are 6! (no tactic chemistry gaining in handball or soccer)
I dont recall how many seasons it took me to gain 100% (or close to that number) chemistry for 3 PP and 3 PK tactics in hockey, but I managed. Maybe 4 is doable also, I'm just not sure about 6.
As it looks now, that is impossible (as said, more than half a season and one above 10%) - so PPM is basicly forcing us to choose 3 (or 4) tactics to play and get them to 100%. If we want to use 5th or 6th tactic we are left to use it with 0% - which I think is not making the game more interesting. Well, maybe for younger teams who are claiming that it is not exciting to play against older teams as the gap is to big. Which I disagree, because if you read the guide completely (which I did in 2009 when hockey started) and if you consult the forums and if you log in regularly (at least every second day), also some luck is needed: then it is possible to become one of the top teams in a few seasons (depending on many things, league levels for example).
PS: I don't really care about basketball as it is the most unfair sports of all; hockey as my favourite is what bugs me.

I know, this is just game, but in real life, teams didnt use simultaneously more tacticss, only few one.
Its up to you to choose the best 4/6 tactis, and live together with that. I think its totally correct.

Yzerman, you posted your question in handball thread, so maybe there's a little confusion.
Anyway, I started playing only two tactics and will attach the next one when these two are at 80+%. Will see how many will I manage to get to 100%, but I think 3 is sufficient to be "mysterious" enough not to get caught by counter tactics every game.

Both teams have roughly the same force. The only difference is second goalie. He's definitely not helping there.
Of course he's not helping, but we would have lost even with 90% SV-% as the opponent has 47 vs 36 shots and we lose by a margin of 11... In 2nd half we play with sho-pref pivot: Thus,he has 3 shots in the whole game . Sure we don't want to focus too much on just one match, but the GE seems quite often be running on random-mode. Thanks anyway greub
omg, i didn't pay attention to that, but you're probably right. I usually have less of them. Just a bad day for everyone and an away-game... Thanks
I've read the guide and I understood that 6-0 defensive formation is good against a team that attack a lot on wings. However, whhen should I use 5-1 or 4-2 or 3-2-1 formations? All seem prety similar.
Is 5-1 good against a team that has good wings and pivot?
Is 4-2 good against a team that has good wings and backs?
Is 3-2-1 good against a team that has good backs and pivot?
At least this is what I think however I don't know to much about handball. Are my assumptions correct?
Also regarding the offensive play tactics, when is good to use the slow transition option? When using fast breaks will my players selected for the defensive formation shoot more as there is not enough time to replace the formations? When using fast breaks will wingers shoot more cause as far as I know this is how fast breaks bahave in real life handball?

In my last league match my offense starting lineup was all mixed up. Back players on wings and pivot positions and wings and pivot on back positions. Why?
Defense lineup was setup exactly the same (except a substitute for one back player) and it shows up normal. When I go to lineup setup page, everything looks fine.
It would be unacceptable if it happens again tomorrow.

Are some of your starting lineup players in the training camp? If yes they can't play.
No. They came back yesterday.
The thing is, they all played in the starting lineup, but the lineup was all mixed. As I said, wings and pivot were in back positions and vice versa.
