Hi friends, As we said before, today we are starting Live broadcast for all your matches. We hope that you will enjoy them. Start will be during this day, we still do not know the exact time. If you see that button PPM TV in your hockey team menu is not grey anymore then it is ready for your use. Please do not forget that this broadcast is still in its first testing phase and there are lots of things that will be changed or modified. PowerPlay Manager successfully moved to a new server

Hi friends, We have a very tough weekend behind us but the good news is, that we managed to successfully move to the new server in Great Britain. As a result we have a better server now, which has much better parameters than the previous one and we believe, that we still have something in reserve regarding the current number of online managers. We shall see how this influences the live broadcast but we are very optimistic. PowerPlay Manager is moving to a new server

Hello friends, As I have mentioned in the previous news, PowerPlay Manager is moving to a new server. Therefore the game will have to be shut down for a few hours by our estimates. The whole process starts on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:30pm CET. Due to the assignment of new IP addresses, everybody will have to wait until the provider updates them. If you see a page announcing technical maintenance and server changing, it means that this has not been done yet. First official PowerPlay Manager meeting and some news

Hello friends I want to inform you, that on saturday 18th October 2008, at 18 00 we will have first official PowerPlay Manager meeting in Bratislava, Slovakia. it will be in "Hokejka" pub and all managers are very welcome. We will discuss the game, drink few beers and we will try to know each other better. with this meeting we will establish the tradition which will regulary continue. we plan to have also meetings in other countries. Economical changes and other news

Hello friends During the last 10 days we have continued in optimizing the server, which has been more or less successful and we managed to lighten the load on the server and make the calculations much less demanding. It was necessary because the load on the processor and RAM was at times almost the whole day on 100%. Gioel did a great job and we even created a little cushion which we can build on in the future. The ups and downs of the first season

Hello friends, Today the first official season in beta version of hockey was concluded by the seasonal calculation. Overall the impressions are positive apart from a little problem at the beginning and at the end. The main target of the basic testing was achieved and we even managed to build up a stable community of users with about 5000 managers logging in daily. However some problems did occur. New bugs appeared and old bugs fixed

Hi friends Maybe you have already noticed it, but in the last 2 days the game calculation was much slower. Especially the lower leagues were finished late. It can be seen by the slow league standings updating. The reason is, that we have more registered hockey teams now and especially in the recent days there were many newbies. There is also another problem. Due to the fact, that we cannot open new leagues during playoff time, we must create these before the playoff starts and all the previous games of the teams are being calculated. Moving on to Beta version of hockey

Hello friends, The PowerPlay Manager project has successfully completed the Pre-Beta stage and has now been upgraded to the Beta version, where hockey is available without restrictions to all the managers. The aim of Pre-Beta version was mainly to test the server at full load. The test went well apart from some details and everything works fine. We will continue to fix bugs in the Beta version and add new features, which may require a complete restart of the game. Therefore we would like to ask everybody for patience.
