Press release:
Today the Dolphins and the Shire Ballers squared off in a rematch from earlier in the season. Last time these two teams faced off, the Dolphins lost 64-83. This time however the Shire Ballers were home and they were looking to keep their spot in the standings. The first quarter started slowly for the Shire Ballers falling to a 23-19 point game. The Dolphins had a strong advantage on the boards taking 8 rebounds total and capitalizing on the Shire Ballers mistakes.
It remained close into the second half as Steve Johnson tied it up 37-37 with a buzzer beater three.
From this point on the game was not close. Alis Roburgs and Manuel Vinuesa both went on shooting spree finishing with 33 and 18 points respectively. These two new additions have done lots of damage for the Shire Ballers. Timothy Perry who is the teams second leading scorer behind Roburgs sat most of the first half as he saw foul trouble early. However this did not stop him from finishing the second half with 16 points, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Things are looking good for the Shire Ballers who started the season 1-4 and have turned it around with a 5-3 record sitting in 4th place in their division. The only question that remains is the question of their Point Guard. After this game we shoudl expect to see the return of Steve Johnson who finished with 9 points and 4 assists. This is not much in comparison with the rest of the team but Lyle Patterson finished with 0 points and 1 assist. We will see how The Shire Ballers do in their first test in the National Cup.

im very lost as to how to improve your team in basketball. new team comes in during playoffs and i lose by 37 at home. is it my strats or are new teams somehow way better than my team that i made at the beginning of the year? this sport seems harder to learn than the others on here
My first season I joined the team right as the playoffs were starting, and I went undefeated in the playoffs. I figured that was because all my players had 100 energy when I took over.
