well, everything takes its time (not just in this game)
Ignoring shooting and blocking for the moment, this is what I aim for with the other 5
Pa-Te-Sp-Ag-Ju
PG 100-80-80-20-20
SG* 80-80-60-40-40
SF* 60-60-60-60-60
PF* 40-40-60-80-80
C 20-40-40-100-100
These ratios are linked to info in the Guide and trial and error and a bit of analysis of players from other teams indicates, they're not too far off the mark.
I'm less sure about shooting and blocking because they don't seem to influence match ratings.
For SG and SF, I make shooting equal to the top skill. For the other three I am for around half the top skill.
For, C, PF and SF, I make blocking equal to the top skill. For the guards, I make it half.
So if I add shooting and blocking in and rejig the previous numbers so the highest skill is 100 for the three middle positions, this is what I aim for:
Sho-Blo-Pas-Tec-Spe-Agg-Jum
PG 50- 50-100- 80- 80- 20- 20
SG 100- 50-100-100- 75- 50- 50
SF 100-100-100-100-100-100-100
PF 50-100- 50- 50- 75-100-100
C 50-100- 20- 40- 40-100-100
If that makes sense

Well I was close, think my shooting/blocking was a bit way off.... Have twigged a few settings there - But this is what I have.

SG 100- 40-90-90- 60- 40- 40

Things are pretty close in II.3! Air Jumpers just lost to fellow Aussies Manly Lions but are still in contention for the playoffs. It looks like the other three Aussies in II.2 are also ready for the playoffs and that crico will join us soon in div II...
So knocked out in the first round of playoffs - no promotion this season!
Next season, maybe? It's better than my showing. I really thought I would make the playoffs, but in the end didn't get over the line (I came in 7th place overall, but had a tough conference and didn't make it in the end).
Soo... looks like div II will be dominated by Aussies! (shame about lerida legends though)

Yep! And for power forwards! Basically, jumping affects how well you score close to the basket (shooting does this away from the basket). Aggression determines how many times you attempt to make a shot close to the basket, so they work hand in hand.
Also, the check the height of your centers. They should be tall! C should be between 205-220 cm, and PF should be between 200-215 cm (or they will play poorly). Other positions:
PG- 175-190cm
SG- 185-200cm
SF- 190-205cm
Outside these height ranges, they play much worse for their positions. Also, young players (under 18 or so) will keep growing, so you kind of need to guess how tall they will get!

I wish you were my mentor haha, ive been putting shooting/passing for PF, SF and C and blocking for SG and PF but putting the highest shooting SG or PF as the new SG
look at my team sometime?

I would start by selecting players with the right heights for their positions. Try the following starting line-up and see how it goes:
PG: Tabakovic
SG: Forster
SF: Portela
PF: Britton
C: Judd
For reserves, try:
PG: Bayley
SG: Budd
SF: Morley
PF: Charles
C: Downing
If you want to experiment with different line-ups, the Instant Challenges are a great way of finding out how your players go in different positions.

All this chatter has motivated me to get my team a bit more sorted into the right positions - they've all grown since last time I adjusted the team.
Ahh, the joys of a young team! I bought some really good veterans a couple of seasons back (for ridiculous prices). They gave my team a really good boost back then, but haven't improved much and many of the young guys are better than them now.
So I'm trying to focus on younger players, as I am not so good at the buy-sell veterans market cycle (some people are really good at this and actually *make* money doing this!).
