Well I must admit that some of your sentences sound very reasonable and so in different manner than usual explanations. So it is a joy reading them although I beg to differ as you do
Now, speaking of a handful of managers that are complaining... first, it's not nice to complain about these things. It was fun at first, but now it is a dull and a lousy job. I am quite convinced that there are actually a lot more people than we know which are somehow unsatisfied. The last thing I want to do is to make some kind of riot here, so I'm not saying "bring out your concerned voice". I'm just hoping that it would be possible somehow for devs to reduce a bit that random factor. Or to implement some other things that could influence a result in a game (which will decrease again random factor). That is all.
Speaking of scouting your opponent - how about your opponent gives you a picture of his lines?
I've exchanged that pictures with one opponent just to realize (and him also) that the gap between our teams is just too big, and that there are no hidden attributes, no special training, nothing of that kind whatsoever. Still he beat my ass out, and if it wasn't good will from him I would keep on guessing.

Well, brotherke23, I just had a look at your league, and your not doing too badly in 3rd just a few points off top, but the teams ahead of you seem of god quality. I noticed that both got promoted the season before last and had very good finishes in the league in their first year in I.1
They've gotten more experience, possibly better players, upgraded facilities, and gained extra knowledge on how to play the big teams.
Your own team, over the previous 3 seasons have averaged about 4 defeats per season, you have 4 already this year with about 10 games to play, but with the better quality teams around you, it will be harder to keep such a great record going.
Im not saying that you or your team are nt as good as they have been, its just the teams around you are better quality than the deadwood now residing in the lower leagues.

Looking at your league, Ive checked each of the teams above you in a team comparison with mine, and all but 4 of them have a higher team strength and average overall rating in 3 lines/4lines compared to your team comparison with my team.
Since their are quite a few above you this season, I dont have the time to look into it further, but the above is a good starting point...

As I stated earlier, I dont wanna fall out with any of you guys, and Im not defending the PPM game engine, I simply dont agree with some of the suggestions that the engine is bust, or has changed for the worst.
Sure, there are a few things that could be done to enhance the game, as is the case with every online game, but I dont think anything underhanded or drastic has changed re: the game engine.

as popaj said, I know how people train, told them myself, but I just know that I have an advantage over others, and too much of the time we get beaten by weaker teams

lol @ cup games. The NC is the only thing this season where my team played well.
Maybe if PPM didn't favour the winners of leagues with huge sponsor deals we'd all be on even ground with the ability to pay for upgrades or new players.
But saying that, there's losing to a weaker team, and there's getting your ass kicked by a weaker team. Losing isn't the issue, it's having it happen over and over again to teams we should be beating.

rofl! no sir, the irony is that I made the thread to make fun of a few people that were constantly being cry babies hahhaha! The sad reality of it is there is plenty of reason to cry about many of the game results because the game engine is FU**ED UP!

So what you're telling me is there is a logical pattern to the game with a bit of improbability mixed in? To that I say no way... So many things seem to be pure random to me, or strange design. I don't believe tech functions the way it's advertised, nor shooting, nor passing. Those I've confirmed enough to convince myself anyway just based on scouting and roster sharing information. That's just a few examples of the whackadoo game engine!

I'm not sure if you were asking me directly if I read what you said or if were saying generally. I for one did read every word and I like the approach and thought you give every issue. That doesn't mean I agree with all of it tho.
The way I read your statement about the 300k was saying the few of us complaining didn't amount to much out of the registered population of 300k. The problem is that out of the 300k I think it's safe to say at least 2/3 of them will never load up the site again. I do take the point that it's only a small % of the total population speaking out critical of the situation. I think that small % represents a much larger amount of the people who have played this game, some who have quit, some who don't speak English so wont be on this forum, some who don't bother reading this forum, and more. I would think the devs would want to have a somewhat open discussion and also at least take to heart the opinions of the players however small but still substantial that group may be.

I agree there will be upsets and would be upset if there weren't. To me it seems a larger issue that doesn't follow any measurable pattern. Then again I'll concede that it could easily be simply doesn't follow any measurable pattern that I personally can see... Still tho, there are far too many examples of an illogical pattern of results based on stats. While my available results are from a small pool compared to the entire population it still is fairly large.
I don't believe your study of analysis of tactics related to atty statement. There seems to be too much variable to reasonably make such predictions.
I will give you there is perhaps more to learn of the system tho. That's part of what gives me hope. It just seems like a futile effort at time.

I agree in that I too don't think any major change happened in the game engine for this season. Tho it does seem whacky the way some things have worked. There sure was changes in the salary aspect, which I think were terrible, but that's a different aspect.

Yeah, the whole staff / player salary thing is a joke. I fully understand the reason it's done that way, but it makes it no less a joke and unrealistic.
Sorry man but I've lost you along the way explaining my league and my team. And that doesn't mean you have to bother to explain further because all of the sudden I'm not interested in PPM engine anymore.
