Would have had a better chance if the Czech's were are last game, we might have caught them trying to rest players for the elimination rounds, but unfortunately we get them tomorrow. Hopefully we can pull off the upset, we've done it before.
*HUGE* win by the boys in red! Nicely done! Now we have the weakest of our 3 opponents in the final game. A win is certainly needed. But we need the Czechs to lose again. The good news, their playing the first placed Slovaks. Hopefully their rivalry means Slovakia goes for the win and doesn't try and conserve energy for the next round.
Got the word, Slovakia is going to try and beat the Czechs, not saving any energy. We beat Slovenia it could just be enough. Would be something to see the Czechs not make the final-8. Wowzers.
The extra bonus, Czechs were top seed in their group after the first round of round-robin play.

Great season TMO. Very lose... sadly the Slovaks couldn't beat the Czechs.
Almost snuck in on the last day. Unforunate Czech win, and Belarus loss and our win only changing the goal differential by 4. Good job TMO I don't think a lot of people would have had Canada challenging for a playoff spot still on the final day!

[hockey_team=12891] management would like to encourage everyone to get your voting shoes on and take a trip to the ballot box. It looks like there will be a new manager this year, and I feel I can fit the shoes... Lets show these folks what Hockey Canada is all about.
The candidates for this year's national team are fairly light. At this point, I'd say skip is probably the only one qualified for the job.
I still think the team captain should make sure to have people around him to converse in both official languages. While I have no issues in either language, this is not the case for many players who may feel left out since this forum and everything that revolves around the national team is only in English.
