i know that no one cares and tha no one will change the system. but to let you know. today i got my youths and at facility level 8 and 20% on my trainers i got three players with 163,153,137 skills! it shouldnt even be possible, cause they are much worse then the players at level 1. i know its almost only random but it should be impossible to get this bad at this circumstances.
Happened to me as well. I have level 11 or 12 in hockey and still get 5 (yes 5) players who are below 200 OR. It happens.

True, and Alexander Daigle should never have been a 1st round draft pick, but these things DO happen.

Which is good. Not all players that come through Real Madrid's academy are studs. They end up buying a lot of their players from other clubs. There are some small clubs that develop top prospects too. Just the way it works.
I would like to know how are players picked in the team of the day. Sometimes I have three players in te team of the day (only one player was player of the game). I am aksing how far does it go? I mean can all of my players (theoreticaly) be picked in the team of the day?

it depends on goal scoring. If everyone in your team scores more goals than anyone else in your league in that position, and if you keeper blocks the most shots in the league, you may have all your players on best 11 (a very unlikely scenario

My team has strengh of 26 and my golie has a OR of 28X (same as yours).
I think the strenght depends a lot of how the skill points are distributed. If you have too much of principal doesn't help as much as a much complete golie.

A defence player shuldn't be valuated on scoring goals. I mean best defance player should be the one who disable oponent attackers, best middfielder should be the one who does more passes ect...
Do you know what statistics do the engine follow to value the best player of the day. I think that for diffrent position shoul be difrent statistics or at least primary and secundary statistics shold be difrent.

I agree. My goalie has goal of 60. Secondaries all in 30's. Tech is 35 and speed 32. Training tech and speed to get to mid 40's. Will watch strength to see if it is correct way to go.

So I think it does work when your defenders do their primary job. They can get into team of the day when conceding no goals. But I think it would depend on the opposition and how many shots on target they get.

in german forum we have a discussion about the report of soccer matches. there are 2 coloumns with shots. left col is shots on target. right one is shots wide. so in german translation there seems to be a mistake.
could somebody please explain me what exactly is "shot on target" and what is "shots wide"?
I mean shots on target is a shot where the player hited the target (goal), what does not mean that he scored for sure

Shots on target are where the goalkeeper either makes a save or a goal is scored.
Shots wide is when the attacker misses the goal

A SOT is the same as a shot in hockey. A SOT is anything that would have gone in (or did go in) if the goalie wasn't there. A shot off target is anything that was wide and/or hit the woodwork.
