This has to be suggested before. But I'm not sure, so I suggest it anyway.

Players start their career way too early. Instead 15, starting age should be 18 yo or close that. That would make the game closer to real life. What is the reason of starting age 15? Why not 18? I'm also worried that we don't never get players 30 yo or not even 27 yo. Most of people dump player when his career comes to 3/6 and his age might be only 20. People plan their team for the future and keeps youngsters coming...managers doesn't want to keep players who don't practise fast enough. Obviously, you can easily answer that the game is still young bla bla...and it is, but it still could be more realistic and career longevity should be longer. This should be changed...when the game is still young

I am in 100% agreement with this point.

At age 15, young men dont know how to feed themselves, let alone get drafted into Hockey teams top 3/4 lines.

There should be sections to how a player develops in this game...

For example...

At 15 years old, young players will not have the same stamina as a more mature man in their 20's.

I suggest that all 15 year olds should start their careers with a 3 or 4/6 starting CL.

And when they hit their 20's, then there CL should get higher as they get physically stronger and more mature.

Men as athletes usually hit their peak condition between the ages of 25 and 28.
CL decreases should only happen after an individual reaches their peak condition.

I think this idea will solve some problems with day traders too, as managers will be more than likely to hold onto their youngsters, hence drying up the day trading market.

I like the part where the CL first goes up!! that is very realistic

That's interesting idea, but I afraid that would be too radical change for the game. I mean I would go for it, but I don't think developers would.

Ehh... I don't get the point of your CL suggestion. Maybe I think it wrong but the way I see it is that players hit their peak condition when their CL is 1/6. When they reach 1/6, they won't develop anymore. They have developed as long as it has been possible and at 1/6 their skills are at the highest possible level. Right? If that's true the peak condition for player is when he has used all his potential and at 1/6 there won't be any potential left.

In real life they are the youngest players who develop quickest, not the players at the age of 25 or 28. The best players will be those with age of about 30, they have spent the most time training themselves and getting experience from matches. My 1st team squad is already so developed that a 15 years old player won't get to play unless he's a true superstar. In few seasons it'll be very hard for welltrained 17 years old players and seasons away it'll be hard for 20 years old players to get into 1st squad because they haven't develoved long enough. I'd say my player starts his career when he first time plays for my team and in future that will be nearer to age 20 than age 15.

The game is still young and bla bla bla. Think about it. The real reason for young players getting into 1st team is because they have had their training at fast rate when the team already had high training facilities. The older players (18 years old or older) were forced to train in low level facilities and that's why younger players are becoming better.

This is a great suggestion. It is unrealistic to think of 16 or 17 yr old players as in the prime of their career. Personally I think the whole scale should be bumped up a couple of years across the board. I also do like the idea of them actually training better after 1-2 seasons. To me that is realistic since a rookie doesn't do anything nearly as efficiently as a guy who's been around the system a while. Of course that drops off and exp makes up for the progression

I think the coolest scenario would be 1 level of amateur league play. Perhaps a whole U19 league system in which every manager has 1 team. I highly doubt any of these changes would ever be implemented since it's not going to make more money...

you are right antsa. people forget that in a couple of seasons youngsters of 17 year wont even get in the lineup if you have a team that is full of 'superstars'. dont forget the experience these youngsters miss what probably will be a big issue in a high league in a couple of seasons. I think its fine the way it is now. this is a issue that cant be judged by now.

I suggest that increase every player age +3 (or at least +2) and set starting age 17 or 18.

Instead of age, players' experience should be increased.
