Emnet: Strikers efficiency stats.

Just moving this along from the Q&A thread...

The gist of it is to look at your strikers goalscoring stats from games played against other managers only.
TNN games are not included in the final results.

My top 3 strikers have very similar % for goals scored from all shots, and shots on target only.

Here are my findings...

P1 - 12 games
5 goals from 17 shots on target = 29%
5 goals from 39 shots in total = 12.8%
O/S/P/T/S/H
??/35/17/22/32/19

P2 - 9 games
3 goals from 12 shots on target = 25%
3 goals from 27 shots in total = 11.1%
O/S/P/T/S/H
??/33/21/25/31/20

P3 - 7 games
2 goals from 7 shots on target = 28.6%
2 goals from 18 shots in total = 11.1%
O/S/P/T/S/H
??/40/33/35/38/35

I'll post my stats in a bit, just need to filter out the no name teams.. which i face a lot (and yes, i still have low scoring %).

It'll be interesting to see what other peoples stats are, considering that most teams are on a similar level right now.

I didn't see the point in including TNN games because right now, it's like shooting fish in a barrell when playing them. Those games simply bump up a players stats and do not accurately reflect your strikers efficiency.

Anyway, hopefully we'll get a few posting here.

0 goals from 43 shots in total = 0%

2 goals from 6 shots on target = 33%

So, my 3 players here, especially the first, do not support the rules that state that for a shot on goal shooting and technique are the two primary skills.

Sadly i do not have strikers as you do. I seem to get defenders only.

a bit off topic, but i just looked at your team, with the transfers you made and the quality of your stadium/facilities/players..

Where do you get the money from to finance all that? I mean, My stadium is just a little bit bigger than yours, my facilities are about the same, but i definitely do not have the money to buy players in worth of 40 mil.

May i ask how much revenue you have made so far and how much of it was from sponsors? You do not have to, if you do not want to, i'm just curious how much of a disadvantage it is when you play in a lower league.

true, that could be the case.

You spent some more millions on stadium than I do (I think that stadium prices will stay the same for all the time while player prices will go up, so I decided to buy some because I can't pull any good player from academy). Also I will try to buy one more super-star player till the end of season.
Anyway, yes, I took a loan and it's a big one, but still that wouldn't be enough to spend 46millions on transfers this season (and 24millions last season). I can build facilities and buy players because I have 6.5millions per week (sponsorship + TV rights).
This season from tickets I got 24millions + 2millions from souvenirs...

6,5mil a week.. damn.. thats more than twice what i get.
