Поддерживаю Кобучу и Шмеля. Нарыв был и его прорвало. Надо что-то делать. а что делать давайте решать.

Позволю себе процитировать слова модератора о правилах этой темы:

можем писать о том что мы думаем о жизни, политике, оппонентах игры, игре. Внимание - мат не приемлем! матные сообщения будут удалятся!!!!!!

-А можно что-нибудь писать о своей позиции о политике модераторства на форумах ППМ?

тут можно писать все - только без матов и оскорблений. а вообще - ето либеральная ветка( не белорусская и бана на ней получить нельзя...

Если я правильно понял, некорректный пост будет удалён, но бана не будет.
В таком случае, за что бан Шмелю?
Модеры, вы или поконкретнее выражайтесь, или договаривайтесь между собой, или исполняйте то, что сами же и написали. А то народ уже запутался какими буквосочетаниями можно посылать, а какими нет.

Я честно скажу. То что тут пишут резкие слова меня даже радует. Я заметил, уже очень давно - раз критикуют - значит ценят. Поетому можете писать про проблемы в модераторстве форума и критику в мой адрес - я не обижусь . Я всегда прислушаюсь.
Правда обижает другое - вроде хочешь помочь людям - говоришь им - одумайтесь, зачем Вам нарыватся - отпустите глупое. А они потом тебе же за помощь вбивают нож в спину. Но это беларусы - я в принципе и другого не ожидал...

Я тебя ценю Цезарь-dzianis, ты мой модератор...

Не буду переходить на личности, но достаточно взять даже эту ветку на которой якобы нельзя получить бан. Начнём с 8 страницы и далее по тексту.

Создаётся впечатление, что мы со Шмелём выясняли отношение между собой. Но это не так.
Мы всего лишь пытались добиться внятного ответа - кому, что и сколько можно говорить?
Должен признаться тем, кто не в курсе - своих сообщениях я понаписал раз в пять больше зав.матов, чем Шмель.
Лично для себя я выяснил следующее - мне (пока что) можно чуть больше чем Шмелю, другим можно ещё больше, а на некоторых просто не обращают внимания.

dzianis, о каком ноже идёт речь? Вы сами себя без ножа режете. Не ты лично, вся ваша система сама себе противоречит.

Что-то есть в твоих словах. Однако я предлагаю не растрясать тему - все-равно ничего хорошего с етого не выйдет.

Если не трясти - всё так и останется. Dayands предложил решать что делать дальше. И потом - "можете писать про проблемы в модераторстве форума" - твои слова.
Никто из смертных не в курсе как выглядит модераторский мануал о котором упоминал Вальдез - это не страшно, хотя и любопытно. Но вы обьясните людям последовательность своих действий.
А то на данный момент получается следующее:
1. Один предупреждает, второй без базара тут же банит за один и тот же пост.
2. Предупреждение, последнее прокурорское предупреждение, предупреждение о вечном бане, потом ещё одно предупреждение и только потом бан, а может и не бан - зависит от того, против кого действует модератор.
3. Как я уже писал ранее, по всему форуму разбросана куча постов вообще оставленных без внимания. Я понимаю, что некоторые из оставивших эти мессаги заходят на форум раз в сезон. Но ведь дело в принципе, а не в количестве постов.
4. Завуалированный мат - бан. Практически чистый мат - даже предупреждения нет.

Так что вы уж, пожалуйста определитесь меж собой как поступать. И оповестите общественность, журнал к вашим услугам.
Как вариант, могу предложить один из пунктов - предупреждение, не понято - бан на сутки.
Без всяких обещаний вечной любви, то бишь бана.
Причём, после предупреждения пост не удалять - чтобы народ видел, что карточка выдана за дело.
А вот рассуждения о морали, что, мол, других это может покоробить, оставьте в покое. Для тех, кого это возмущает есть посылка на проверку модератору. Малолетки ругаются матом без всякой завуалированности прямо в школе, а то и в детском саду. И ничего нового для себя из наших мессаг они не узнают.
Прямое оскорбление (даже без мата)- это другое дело, тут можно и без предупреждения. Но даже в этом случае надо интересоваться у оскорблённого - а стоит ли банить оскорбителя или оскорблённый понимает, что выгреб за дело.

Вобщем, я не силён в юридических вопросах, а нарваться на бан на русскоязычном форуме намного проще при наличии великого и могучего. Это вам не какой-то факингшит, тут всё серьёзно.
Потому и русскоязычным модераторам к делу надо относиться намного серьёзнее, чем модераторам-иностранцам. Тут даже полиглот Граб вам в помощники не годится, при всём моём к нему уважении.

Moderator’s guide

The biggest weapon and quality of a moderator are his manners. The manner of communication and conduct.


1. Definition of terms

a) Moderator is a person who fulfills the role of the moderator or other function (e.g. assistant, captain etc.) while having moderator rights. Moderators ensure that the rules on the forums, mail or flash chat are followed, delete unsuitable messages and posts and punish the violations of the rules (hereinafter as moderators)

b) Rules of the game are rules set by the creators of the game and may be updated and/or amended.

c) Forum/flash chat is a place for the discussion of managers where the moderators fulfill their duties depending on their nationality or their assignment on specific countries.


2. Tasks and rights of the moderators

a) The tasks of the moderators are:

- to check if the rules on forum and flash chat are followed

- to check the private messages violating the rules after the managers allow access to the incriminated messages (this is a planned feature, screenshots are sent now)

- to delete unsuitable messages on forum and flash chat

- to warn inexperienced managers about rule violations

- to punish rule violations on forum, flash chat or PPM mail
b) Moderators must have precise knowledge about the rules of the game as well as the guide and they must be able to provide suitable information for the managers on the forum if necessary.
c) Moderators cannot abuse their power for personal benefit.


d) Chief moderator:

- monitors the work of moderators in all countries and makes sure they follow the guidelines in this document

- deals with the complaints and misunderstandings between moderators of various countries

- communicates with the captains of the national support teams and cooperates with them in order to improve the work of the moderators

- issues guidelines regarding the work of the moderators
3. Hierarchy in national communities and selection of moderators

a) Moderators work under the supervision of their national captain and partly under the supervision of the chief moderator unless it is agreed otherwise


b) It is recommended that the captain consults candidates for moderators with other moderators in his country. If the captain feels that the moderators do not approve of the candidate it is not recommended to accept the candidate. If there is no captain in the country, the acceptance of candidates will be dealt with individually. The role of the captain may be taken by one of the moderators or the chief moderator himself or even the creators of the game.


c) Criteria for selecting new moderators:

- excellent knowledge of the rules and the game itself to be able to give proper advice on the forum/flash chat if necessary

- proper knowledge of the native language and its grammar to be able to react aptly on the forum/flash chat

- clean register, i.e. no previous punishments (transfer punishments, forum bans or other rule violations)

- appropriate age (18+). Exceptions are possible with the approval of the creators of the game

- manager experience of at least 100. Exceptions are possible with the approval of the creators of the game

- active participation on the forum/flash chat + posting apt replies on the forum/flash chat and helping others

- ability to be an authority. Other managers must take the moderators seriously

- ability to deal with issues on the forum/flash chat with composure and impartiality even when dealing with friends

- ability to act in a distinguished manner on the forum/flash chat

d) National communities of moderators may adapt or add to the criteria for selecting new moderators.
4. Scope of work (forum, flash chat, mail and admin)

a) Moderators check the forum of the communities they have been assigned to and they shall not interfere with other national communities such as deleting posts etc. Moderators shall fulfill the duties on the forums they have been assigned to.

b) Moderators who have language skills to fulfill their duties in other national communities shall either receive permission to fulfill their duties in these communities from the creators or they shall agree with the captain of the given country.
c) In case a moderator does not have such permission but the situation required the moderator to act on such forums, the moderator must inform the captain of the given country or a moderator of the given forum about this.
d) Moderators deal with the section in admin called MOD Alerts, which are reported posts but only with the ones from the forums of the countries they are responsible for. Paragraphs 4a, 4b, 4c also apply to the work in admin.
e) If there is a case of abuse in private mail the moderator shall warn the manager who violated the rules by private message and shall ban the manager if necessary.
5. Reacting on forums
a) When the rules are violated on the forum, the moderator shall first give a warning to the manager who has violated the rules (it is recommended to cite the rule which has been violated) and if the manager does not heed the warning a ban shall be given.
b) When a message is deleted which was violating the rules, the moderator shall react to this message and give reason for deletion so that other managers learn that the post was against the rules and they can learn from that case. The moderator’s explanation may contain the warning about rule violation.
c) If the manager was not aware of the rules, the moderator shall warn him about this and shall provide a link on the forum/flash chat where the rules can be found.

6. Bans

a) Before giving a ban, the moderator must first warn the manager about breaking the rules. If the manager does not heed the warning a ban shall be given.

b) The severity of the ban is up to the moderator but the same bans should always be given for the same violations.
c) Ban should be taken as a way of teaching the managers how to behave and this power should not be abused.
d) If an inexperienced manager who was warned about breaking the rules continues to break them, the moderator can automatically increase the severity of the ban.


1st violation = 1 day ban.

2nd violation in a short time span = 2-3 days ban.

3rd violation in a short time span = 7 days ban.

e) In exceptional cases the moderator may give a permanent forum ban to a manager who keeps breaking the rules.
f) It is planned that a message will be sent to managers who have violated the rules about a deletion of their post or about the ban with the following text:

EN: You have been awarded a ban (total days) and/or your post/thread was deleted by (NAME OF MOD) due to the violation of forum rules. Please adhere to the rules in the future. You can read them again here: (LINK TO THE RULES)
7. Creation of new thread and closing threads
a) Any manager can create a thread on the forum. It is a moderator’s job to make sure the threads are in the right categories:

- hockey thread in the category Hockey forum

- general thread in the category General forum

- Tournament thread in the subcategory Tournaments

- league thread in the subcategory League forums


b) If a thread is created in the wrong category, the moderator shall close this thread stating the reason for the closure and ask the thread creator to create a new thread in the correct category.

c) Moderators close threads which:

- break the rules

- are duplicates

- are in the wrong category

d) Moderators do not close threads just because they are not up-to-date or because nobody posts in them.

e) Threads are deleted only if they are severely violating the rules. Otherwise they are just closed and can be viewed by managers.

8. Sticky threads

a) Sticky threads are such that fulfill an important role in the development of PPM and they are marked in a different color. These threads are always displayed on top. These are mainly threads such as: Questions and Answers, Reporting bugs, Errors in live broadcast.

b) Sticky status may be given to a thread which needs to be temporarily promoted, e.g..: Meeting of managers, support of the project. When these topics are not up-to-date anymore, they should be given normal status.
