There is no such thing as a random in here. In real life its called luck, and the element of luck is also present in this game.
I want to know what I do wrong , because this is a second game in last three official games when I lose ,and I don't know why
BJ, your an IT guy, you know.
But let's ask the Oxford dictionary for 'random':
"Having no definite aim or purpose; not sent or guided in a particular direction; made, done, occurring, etc., without method or conscious choice; haphazard."
So, if we would play a 'random' game here in that sense, why would we bother playing it?!
No, by choosing players and tactics and by having the engine respond to that choices, it has a method, it is sent in a particular direction, it has an aim. It creates chances for this and that outcome, and while each singular play or decision will be decided by invoking some kind of random (!) number generator, the game as a whole is by no means 'random'.

And now you're the typical IT knows-it-all...
I rephrase: Each invocation of a random number generator tries to mimic a random choice. ok?

I'm not taking that away from you. I would also be upset about last nights game (the one against apocalypse was no such absolute upset imho).
But, it's not 'random'. It's more like his incredibly defensive linup worked, which sometimes happens. The chances where highly in your favor, but you had really bad luck - and a poor striker.

And you can call it what ever you want - but for me the question is:
- At how many points in engine we have chance calculations??
Imagine this:
Great number of calculations - with great number of factors - gives only ONE result - for example 60% chance against 40% chance. And only in this point we have result generator depending on chances.
That would be poor program - and you could call that "random" if you ask me.

You just have to imagine how the program could work. I think, the Engine works in 5min steps per game, because you can change your players just every 5min.
so in this steps it calculates for every minute a situation. There can also be no situation. If there is a situation it creates it by different factors depending on strength of every players on field and also tactics.
There is a result, that gives a chance to Team A or Team B.
By a high random sampling, there'll be the avery anticipation. But there'll also "crazy" results, like my game yesterday

Yeah, but I certainly think that's not how the game engine works. It's more like a step by step calculation imho. Why do I think that? Because it's reasonable. I don't see a big advantage in first putting everything together and afterwards mimicking a reasonable match over computing it step by step.
And speaking of which, the tactics and substitution changes are triggered at certain points. Good hint.

I hope when 2D simulation comes ppl will stop talking about random

Why, because cute little red and blue dots look so human?
