That's for sure. I guess when he went 0:3:1 in his first 4 games and tied his first for CWC he just said fug it :/ I'm getting my butt handed to me this, my first season in I.1, but quitting is the furthest thing from my mind. I'm busy trying to figure out how to turn things around. I'm weird but it's actually more fun then it was just winning most of the games. I just hope Leggy and mj64 dont get too bored

i think i mentioned this to someone in a pm, i got so stressed last season. I ended up in a situation where i had to win out to stay in first despite beating the 2nd and 3rd place team. The game wasn't as fun then.

Sure, i wish i was cruising this season too... but I am enjoying it a lot more not worrying and just letting things happen. My only goal this season is not to get relegated... and if i do get relegated to make sure it is into the new III.12 lol

Yeah, the Iowa Wild had a pretty impressive run last year given the fact there were two teams better (on paper) and another one or two comparable teams ... and they missed a perfect season by just 4 points.

From the straight prize money angle, it doesn't make sense to promote unless you can make the playoffs ("imho" as either Eeoulo or JOJO says).

I suppose the increased gate revenue and sponsorships help, but they are likely to be offset by the loss of prize money and OTR, which of course affects the following year's sponsorships and immediate/future ticket sales.

Yeah I tried to make that point a week ago - its better to get your OR built up in the lower leagues and rise like a rocket - if we have leagues IV and V to shoot through etc.

The online sim games just haven't caught on in the states like other countries.

how much does that suck that he left, even with a pretty decent team from what I'm seeing OR wise for his players. Nice stadium, nice facilities. I can only assume he went on vacation and could not log in.

lol - what the hell happened there? I had like 20 penalties (well, maybe not quite) but there were no PP goals and you had no penalties at all.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure when the team goes noname the players will be released and anyone over 250 will go into the market

If he comes back, and re-registers will he get his team back? And assuming his team gets relegated, unless we jump to 4 levels, they will go noname right? (Only 2 levels of USA currently)

he'll get another team. it goes by team id. the system won't remember that this user had this team id a few weeks back.

I hear reports that the fans were instrumental in pressuring the refs to call the game pretty much one way.

Oh, and yet we didn't take advantage of the opps. Lame. I demand a replay, but of the PP opportunities only.
