Zone restrictions are found in most football management like this. As shown in the rules the Pitch in TM is divided into 9 zones. Defense, Middle and Forward Vertically. Left, Center and Right Horizontally.
The idea of zone restrictions is to limit the number of players allowed in a single or series zones. By making reasonable restrictions, you would form realistic football formations.
I have suggested 5 basic zone restrictions that would do this.
1) 3-5 defenders (Basic Standard in Football)
2) 3-6 midfielders (While 5 is usually the maximum used, sometimes you will see a 3-6-1.)
3) 1-3 forwards. (Basic standard in football)
4) No more than 3 wingers on each side. (The most extreme wing formation I know is a 3-6-1 and this would be accommodated. All teams need some interior defense.
5) No more than 4 interior midfielders. (center middle)Having 5 interior midfielders leaves only 5 other players for the rest of the pitch. Woefully inadequate.
By following these simple rules you eliminate silly ideas that are just not seen in real soccer. Things like 1 or 2 defenders and 4 wingers on 1 side of the pitch and none on the other.
Hope this helps my friend!

0forwards should be allowed. Its rare, but has been used to some success (Manchester United used it one season very successfully). Other than that, I'm all for the restrictions you mentioned above.
So, no option to play last 10 min. with 2 defenders and 4 forwards ?
In real soccer there is no restrictions how many players will play in witch zone. Ideally would be if engine could work in that way - that poor tactics brings more vulnerability.
Also, it would be good if tactic and type of players could be in close relation. In sense that someone could take more from his players with correct tactical puzzle.
But - that requires vary complex game engine - so, for now I must agree with you - if engine can't punish poor tactic - then make zone restrictions

We have to remember this a game in its early stages. No doubt as the game advances more complex steps could be taken to improve on my ideas. Im just trying to find workable solutions that the developers could use now.
In real football, you can make the argument a team like Barcalona and Real Madrid play with two defenders and their full backs act as wing mids with little defensive responsibilities. But they also have a holding center mid to aid with defense. So I'm a little uneasy with caps like that for positions, and I really think there should be no minimum for forwards. I think as the game engine matures, algorithmic puzzles would be no more than the puzzles that exist in real football with formations.
I'm against caps or zone restrictions, but I'm for some kind of penalization for extreme formations.
That should not include "weird" formations, like the ones I usually play, of course

I understand what both you and Rayvok are saying. I would again remind you this is still just a young and promising football game. What we want to do for now is get rid of all the weird formations in the simplest way possible. This is a proven way on other major games to do it.
Rayvok what about Real Madrid and Barcelona is true, but remember the restrictions I mentioned would not stop you from putting your backs in the second tier of the defense line. Again not perfect, but a pretty good answer at the present stage of this games development.

croatia have 64 4.th leagues and only 20 5.th leagues and 3th are mostly noname clubs i think this reform will fail if situation stay like now ... they must fill 3.th and 4.th and 5.th expand on 256 clubs or erase...
they are filling higher leagues with teams that have highest OTR to replace no names.
Please include in the guide that Campus does not start the next training update, but the second one after our boys are sent. It's explained nowhere at the moment...
better even to mention in the training section that daily training shows that of the previous day. That took me a while to figure out in the beginning I remember.
Would it be possible to improve the scouting history view? I would like to see to tabs, one for players and one for staff.
For players, it would be great to have a table similar to the practice page: age, CL, attributes with qualities, experience and preferred side.
