Apparently the National Cup is going on right now. Only about 5 I.1 teams remain. Hopefully a noname team doesn't end up winning the whole tournament.
I was lucky enough to pull a noname team in the second round, and apparently had a good enough to win easily.

I managed to beat a noname in both rounds. It'd be awesome if this trend continues...
Correction: a manager made an account shortly before my first National Cup game. Darn.
The buggy draw earlier this week showed me losing in this round. Luckily that didn't happen.
I am out of the competition. I sold a player and it messed up my tactic/formation. It was a close match but i never had a chance as i had much less scoring opportunities.
I was wondering if those results would hold. People would have gone batshit crazy if they did.
Only three teams remain from I.1. My team is somehow the highest ranked team remaining. On to the round of 32.
Going into the round of 16, only 2 league I teams and 5 league II teams remain.
Damn. I had a brutal loss this week. I was getting clobbered all game long. Down 15-7 at half! Damn. And things didn't pick up in the second half. In fact, they got a bit worse. I was down 25-16 with just under 15 minutes to go. That's NINE goals.

Then the other team scored two of the last 3 goals to hang on. Ugh! That was so freaking close!

I somehow stole an overtime win. The score was within two goals for the majority of the game and went back and forth.

Each of the top 4 leagues (tier I and tier II) have one representative. There are 3 tier II teams (two from III.8 and one from III.9) and one tier IV team (from IV.2).
