Man! We only get one team in each international tournament? I thought for sure I'd qualify for the CWC with my runner-up finish in the NC last season.

that because neither CWC or CL qualified to playoffs. it hurt and we didnt get enough points to secure 4 places.

It is not looking good, so far, this season neither so we may once again have only 2 slots next season

Yeah... I was gonna actually post about that (and give you guys a hard time).

Only 4 wins in 16 matches in last season's champions league, and only 6 wins in 16 matches in last season's cup winners cup? And none of our 4 representative teams made it to the playoffs...?

Being honest, I'm not loving our chances when it comes to national team competition at this point. We definitely need to step it up a bit on the international stage.

IF this year's teams don't make the playoffs, and IF I happen to represent USA next year in either, I'll strongly consider making advancement to the playoffs to allow USA more reps my top priority.

Of course, it's easier for me to make that statement when I'm fairly confident I won't be participating in either next year. lol

it is not like i didnt try. even played at VH a couple of matches, but with teams at the same quality and at that point most of people were clueless, luck came into place.

Also some of opponents (at least in my group) had spent tons of money to improve the roster.

I would say USA more "sim" players and less aggressive when it comes to roster building as we mainly focus on building facilities than roster. Some are aggressive but most are not.

With that said, I dont see our chances this season is high for finishing it with 4 teams to play internationally.

Hard at this point as no-one has a team built with league and international squad or a combination of. So where do you spend the energy to gain the OTR? Hard choice.

not even guaranteed to win the OTR. I tried a couple of games playing om VH and failed.

I had to pretty much give up the NC as Id have no way to save energy playing 3 leagues when most people were at about the same level in the nationals.

After a few games, I also gave up trying to make the playoffs in the champions league. The teams were evenly matched, and I had to save energy for league play.

Waiting 3 more days to make a level 10 academy pull.
