2 games in a row against Cataclysm... Same tactics and lineups and 2 vastly different outcomes
I think it's largely a matter of momentum and time outs.
I pulled a decent player who will shore up the wing position for now. I finally have a whole team of players close to 210+ OR with 2 decent goaltenders.
I will pull when my academy level 8 ready in two days, and start building level 9 right away.
I better get some good SA pulls a week from today.... or the O.G. season is going to spiral down and down....
Level 8 SP definitely paid off. My only bad player on a team was a left winger with OR 170. Now I pulled this guy who is universal and ready to replace him. Matt Kearns Tied for the 8th spot on highest OR player in US.
Not sure how that "paid" off considering Sylvan Phelan is higher OR than yours and only 18 days in my team. That means, he was pulled off a level 7.
Nice pull but still not what I'd expect from a level 8 academy. I am expecting a 300 OR. 280 at least to be considered to pay off.

You wont get a 300 OR player, and since people were getting players with OR 170 from level 8 academy, my player is an amazing pick. I can already sell him for 15-20 millions. Definitely paid off. In 20 days he will be higher OR than your player and he is universal and 80 AVQ. Now waiting for Friday, to pull another 250+ player. 
Kearns is a beast. I am seeing AVQ of 80 as well. That is the exact type of player I would like to see but 6/6 
My 3 pulls from SA8 have all been below 150! Forget paying off - its blatantly stealing from me.

I have 3 260+ players already before I had academy 8 ... So, to pay off I would want a player that is higher

i would rather you get some 120 - 180's now ... Time for some of us to catch up
I will forgive him that he is 5/6 since he is universal 
Too bad his AQ isn't that high. I see his unscouted as 81, but he is not in the top 21 in the league for AQ. #16 on the list only has a 76 AQ.
That's still a lot. Still a beast.
