That said, thats why I used the team strength of 37 as an indicator. That's what you were at before you went to camp the most recent time (which I figured was closer to your "normal".

It will be easier for sure to get OTR in lower leagues, but I'm saying it just probably wont be like you'll be in the top 25 OTR in a season. If you're really shooting for a league to raise OTR in, you better win some games so you end up in II.3. II.2 is looking like a killing field nowadays.

Tujague seems to be doing pretty good in II.1 . Btw in the guide it doesn't mention a 10 or 15% reduction of the cut of OTR for promoting for the first time to a higher league. Does this mean I won't get the cut? Because that was literally the whole reason I started in D4 (aside from the promotion money )

Having promoted 2x myself I can assure you there is no promotion benefit when calculating the seasonal OTR loss.

Tujague has been a top team in division II.1 for three seasons now. So yeah, his OTR is doing pretty well.

Thats what I'm saying though... it takes time to build OTR up. You can lose it in a hurry, but building it takes time.

I will gain more OTR over the next few seasons in II as its better to win 30-35 games vs 15-25 games. A loss this upcoming season that I can absorb with ticket sales. Only getting 1 half decent SA player has really hurt , so its slowly bleed away or take the hit now and recover.

Too stressful for me at this point. I'd rather do reasonably well against good competition than risk getting creamed by very good competition.

Let's be honest... no one in this world likes losing. If I advance to I.1 and lose all the time, I'd probably be significantly less interested in this game going forward.

I'm only doing well because I have a good team. But I'm a shite manager. The good team can win games on it's own when it doesn't matter. Get into the playoffs and the other teams start trying and the shite manager screws the pooch. I hope I'm doing everything right this season and I'll finally be able to get up here, but there's some sneaky bastards in II.1.

They got rid of the OTR promotion bonus a few seasons ago. I don't remember the reason why.

They already do that. You only get it the first time you promote to a new league - in hockey and soccer, at least. They took it out in handball because the bonus gave too much of an advantage to teams in the beginning, I think. They'll hopefully add it back soon. New teams need all the help they can get.
