the user view was locked, not the actual data for the match calculations. i tried to explain this yesterday. the data was not locked or frozen or whatever. i you recalculate the match 2 weeks later it will use the data from 2 weeks later

if you did not have any problems with sold players during match calculations before, you were lucky. in those cases the match calculation always started before the player was transferred. the transfers page tells you when players are transferred, it happens once per hour i think so there is a special deadline during match calculation every day. if your specific match calculation delays and starts after that, the player is not in your line-up

Let's not repeat ourselfes to death here. Simualtions run from 18:00 and can take a while depending on whatever. And all simualtions are not run at once. We know this and Vlady explained this. Ok.

What tian is asking about is the lineup used in the simulation. Not the time when the simulation takes place.

The lineup is locked at 18:00. You can't make adjustemts. And the lineup is locked because of the match simaulations. But obviously the simulation does not use the locked lineup. Because if it did it would not matter when the simulation is run. 18:00, 18:20 or 18:30 does not matter if the simualtion runs the locked line up.

Didnt see pacmans post before posting mine. At least he got the question about the locked lineup and not the time when simulations is run.

But thats the point I react on... I do like this atleast 30-40 times with other players I sold, and they have played in the match every time !!

It cant be luck ??

Same for other managers who I speak with who have done the same thing !!

Thats why I really want to know whats happens this time !

And... how I going to do in the future. If the best time to sell a player is around 18.00 Swedish time, Its not good to NOT know when the squad is locked...

Its strategy too...

where is the disadvantage in these two games when they have defensive guys in offense and offensive guys in defense?

These two teams have different players in defense and attack and they have had 11/13 and 10/12 in fastbreaks.
I have a balanced team and I have not that number of counterattacks and of course I do not have that effectiveness

I think the balanced teams have a distinct disadvantage.

Logically I have not based only on two games. It is clear that 2 games are not representative. I did a little search and I just put 2 games of my team to not extend my post. The following and so caught my attention too:

They are a small sample and they are not representative of the total that are played daily either, but I found it strange to see that not only happens to me.

Actually, this is an observation I've also made. I support albnunmat here.
Of course we can't make a proper statistics, since we don't have the possibilities (unless using some script, which I can't).
But, there really seem to be a lot of teams playing around 12 starters and Fast Breaks who are doing pretty well with this. So, while having specialists and changing 6 players every time, they often have many FB situations and thereby a high percentage of success. I could give you also some examples from my league (actually league statistics from now 14 games), but that would be of no avail. You have naturally all the numbers yourself and of course much more on top of that. You could just look into the overall stats.

So, to me it seems like the only disadvantage you have by 12 starters is not a real one in the end. Of course there are several possibilities for this:
a) Skill difference between offensive and defensive players in Shooting and Blocking is still to narrow to see a considerable effect. (Yet I find it hard to believe since there is already some gap.)
b) Everything is working fine, I (and others) just can't see it because of the limited overview. (But somehow I really would like to see some consistent examples then.)
c) There is indeed not enough 'punishment' in Fast Break situations for specialist teams. (Which would be bad imho, since that supposedly is the only real disadvantage.)

So, my question would be if everything works as planned here? And I really would like you (PPM devs, not you personally) to take a new look into this whole offensive-defensive-formation/Fast-Breaks/FB-efficiency complex.

I don't want to start another pro-con-argument on specialist-only-teams here! I just would like to know if PPM thinks this part works fine in their point of view, and if not, if they will be doing something about it.

I would add that if it is something to your a) option. If this is only going to appreciate in the long term, it would be nice to know when they launch basketball too, since I will change the strategy completely.
I will make a team of 10 players to take advantage of the FB for a few seasons to try to be as high as possible and win all possible prizes and then redo the team and I make one balanced with the money I have earned.

When it comes to match reports and, more specifically, shots wide, what influences this stat? Is it simply where the player taking the shot has too low shooting ability and has missed the goal? Is it a random roll of the dice with higher chance of scoring the higher the shooting stat? Or is the shooting stat compared with the goalkeepers blocking stat?
The reason I ask is because I've noticed more shots wide this season compared to last and I consider my team's shooting to be pretty good and I'm trying to understand how shooting works. Backs I guess miss more often as they are further from the goal, would this be correct?
Basically, I'd like to know what factors are taken into account when a player takes a shot?

In basketball is not possible to substitute players as in hockey or handball. A substitution can be made only when the game is stopped. And all players can be substituted at the same time.

But after a basket is made the clock is not stopped, unless there is within the last 2:00 minutes of the 4th quarter (NBA) or 1:00 NCAA.

So it would be really impossible to make substitutions after any attack...
