It was Ahn Jung-Hwan of South Korea. Scored against Italy where he was playing and was sold to Japan. There is a blurb in wiki:

Congrats for what you did with the NT over the past 2 seasons. I feel sorry for you your term ends like that, you deserved a better result. Team Canada has been cursed since day 1 and we often end up with disapointing results. Should I remove my candidacy???

Today's game, 13 shots in and only 1 goal, that's... well, that's it.

Regarding Peru, they are hard to play, and the US team fell in the same trap as us. With their 3 CD and SD playing close to the center, it's not easy for CF. Both Canada and USA played 2 CF, same result. For this kind of game, a strong SF would be very welcome, IF there is one available in the country! Unfortunately, I haven't seen one yet...

Now that all our NT teams are playing golf in Florida, I'll start posting suggestions for next season in case I'm elected.

I plan on selecting 3 keepers, 5 SD, 6 CD, 5SM, 6CM, 5 CF and ideally 2 SF if we can find some. Which should bring to a total of 32 players. 3 open spots, just in case. 6 CD and 6 CM to have more depth in case of a game played in 5-4-1 or 3-5-2 as an example.
