no at all, the player should then placed on the transfer market, the main idea is to make untransferlisted player available for bidding.
i really like this option, i have a few players who i would happily sell if i could be guarenteed a certain price.
If someone was able to put the first bid on before they went to the market i would quite happily sell them.
The only thing that would need to happen i think would be to be able to set your players as not for sale or not for sale below a certain limit. This would limit the amount of bogus offers made.

Just post some stuff in your status. For example:
200/100/100 goalie, 5/6 CL 18 years old. Qs 70+. Message me if interested. Then converse with someone until you reach an agreement on an initial price.

yes but ive been burnt by that in the past on other games. There is no guarentee.
Also i tend to only have people i converse with on the boards or via mail as friends so not overly many ppl.

True, but if you come to terms with a team on a price, the player then goes on the market at that price for a set # of days where other teams can match the offer.
You could put up a new thread where people can ask for players or to offer one and then get an agreement for a price via PM. The player will go on the transferlist for that price and on a set time.
But i don't know if there are rules for/against this?

What cavaelen means its the buyer will say he agrees to the price. He will post the player for said price, then the buyer backs out. And if that player doesn't sell he is out the money for posting said player and maybe time if he had to re-arrange his line ups and what not.
Then put on the transferlist for $10.000 and the buyer should put in the first bid for the player for the agreed upon price. If the player is good enough he will be sold for a good price even if the initial buyer backs out. It's a risk and people should know that before entering such negotiations.
Yes, as long as the player is then listed at the negotiated price I have no issue with this option. I even like it.
Why is it that some plays are auto-goals in the game engine? Every time certain events come up I get scored on... very predictable.
I wouldn't call any play auto. I've seen them all go both ways. Some plays are more in favor of the shooter and others more for the goalie so they tend to almost always play the same, but sometimes it swings the other way.
Well the drop pass must be the kryptonite of my goalie then... lol
i thought the live play didnt actually match the game engine and was just there for fun so i wouldnt read anything into it.
I'm just saying that its not strictly canned, the outcome of any text has a possibility to change, I've seen variations on the messages, and some of the text is more biased towards the shooter, goalie, offense or defense, but that it can go the other way sometimes.
