I wouldn't mind a 150% salary for foreigners, 100% for home country and 50% from the academy (yes that low because the academy is like a lottery anyway... very hard to get good players)
from the contracts section of the guide:
"Foreign players have 25% higher salaries than local players. All players are considered as local players in the world league regardless of their origin. "

I'm pretty sure they changed that because people complained.
No I think the compromise was for the "other world" which, if you ask me, is unfair. If players come from the other world they should have no fee not if they come from anywhere.
i feel like homegrown players should get some sort of performance boost, much like how your team gets a boost with media centres in the arena.
Not much, but enough to make it so that it's a bit of an advantage to ice players from your home country. hometown pride, but on a national level.

player salaries are going to keep growing, 25% will become much more significant.
i like it. I'd be much more inclined to have more canadians. right now I'm only keeping guys from my academy that are 70%+. If there is a performance bonus, I'm looking harder at the 60% range guys.
You could extended it to homegrown and guys who have been there for more than 5 years or something. Since it took the Sedins five years or so to get going haha
Swedish twins should be allowed to reach 200% chemistry.
