After today' s final score 0:0 and loss 0:1 in OT is our team out of position for quarterfinal. We both with my assistant Javert are sorry. To promotion miss us only one point from the match against CZE or GER.

No problem... but just thinking about one thing. Why Veeti Tapola didn't played? I think he is slightly better than Örnberg? If the target is in final/semifinal then it is wise decision. But in absolute level Veeti is better than Örnberg...

Because he had low energy. Then was Örnberg better for yesterday.

Tapola last match 589 strengtness is 17 better than Örnberg's 572. Actually if I'm calculating more those was exactly in same level of strengthness after playing very high.... I calculate also lower energy for Tapola.

In this kind of situations experience is more valued in my papers...
But anyway, goalies was not the reason for loss.

Yes, it is right. 589 was Topola in his last game against Croatia, for next game he would be 91 % from 589:94.100 = 570,2 and Örnberg was 572. He both were in the same level. I experienced in many National Teams, that one goalkeeper in two games in a row is not perfect.

Maybe there's nothing new but I feel I need to further enliven this conversation and to maybe add some more insight - I see no major errors made during the run, clearly Kalores is up to the task. I will also vote for him if nothing really surprising comes up.

Notes: Germany does not play with normal, yet the worst possible tactic was chosen for overtime. I would also disagree on the goalie note above - after a superb play you might expect a lower performance (this has nothing to do with the known game engine though) in the next game but otherwise I see no point in choosing a different goalie. Last thing is also based on feelings and my own experience in the Finnish national team - going attacking against a strong team is never advised unless it is expected that they would use forechecking.
