Still need to get above the relegation line for my own respect if nothing else. My team has made some good progress and I'm working on training these scrubs into spec, but they are pretty far off the mark so it will take a while before I can get some decent production out of them.

Played my first league game at home with 1400 seats. I was hoping for a sellout since it was #1 vs #2, but it didn't happen. 'Only' 1287 people showed up to see us skate to a 2-2 tie. The result was disappointing, but I made $514,800 for the game
I need to get HR7 started when the next sponsor offer comes in to have it finished before sponsor offers at the end of the season. I was worried that I wouldn't have enough money to build it in time. I no longer have to worry about that

That 2-2 result is better than the 9-8 drubbing he gave me lol. I got my capacity up to 1300 now, not going to touch that for a while. Wish I could get more money per week for upgrades, got everything at just level 4.
That 9-8 game was awesome! The only two goal lead was early in the first and lasted all of 30 or 40 seconds. Didn't he score something crazy like five PP goals and a shorty or two? That would have been a great game to watch
Yea he did 5 PP (6 penalties lol) and a shorthanded, I was amazed by what was going on. I think our defenses took a nap that day, it was absolute insanity. Ending was awesome too, him taking the lead with like 4 minutes left, then I scoring a minute later to tie, then he coming back to score the game winner with 46 seconds left.
Finally crawled above the relegation line. Yes meaningless, but certainly a point of pride.

Wish there was more strategy (like line tactics), but it has been pretty fun growing this team. Now I need my finances to catch up to my roster
looks like I will have some say in the playoffs. I play both the Situation and Pittsburgh and if I win out I'll be in the mix as well.
Pittsburgh will have a rough time facing both Garnett and Bombsville and myself.
The Situation should lock up the eighth position because it plays its next 2 against Nonames which will eliminate me before they face me and they finish with Garnett.

DarkAddiction, do remember when you were wondering why I had so many staff? Well I bought NINE more on Saturday morning. I now have 36 staff to work with my 36 players
I don't know about you guys, but my staff is crap. I've only scouted a couple of them, but I didn't have anyone with both Qs above 55. That's all kinds of pitiful after 170 days on the job. So I remedied that yesterday. Hopefully.

I've been slowing trying to upgrade my staff as well. Some are decent, others need canned. Doesn't help that I haven't had a good staff pull yet lol
