Well, on his defense I did it in a few minutes, by the time he answered my I'd already posted it everywhere, I'm sorry for any confusion/issues this may have caused, I won't do it again, and in my defense, I didn't know one post was considered spam

One post in national team thread is not a spam. But when you post it in every league, this is spam.

I think it's probably a matter of forcing people to use their advertising mechanism.

About this... I found that the advertise player feature is just terrible... I'm guessing because theres others out there, like me, who have add-blockers in the browser, which blocks these adds too, and those who dont, I doubt they pay attention to the adds... So, why should we have to pay to use advertisements that dont work instead of manually advertising... Which is what people runnig for office do! They don't advertise in places no one looks, they make sure as many people see their ads as possible!

the best advertisement is "spamming" where there cant have moderation and be more effective: message some key members who are not in the forum. that also helps to maybe motivate them to play.

Last season I worked training some new managers on how to best play the game. Some are still playing and doing well.

some people just wont come to forums but will recognize when one has done good things or can do good things.

I actually tried using the advertising mechanism to help sell one of my best prospects in hockey and then in soccer. It made zero difference. My hockey player sold for what seemed to be the market price and was not seen by too many more people. My soccer player sold for $10 million (at least $10 million less than I had hoped for); granted that I was at fault for selling at a nonoptimal time of day (the sale also took place right after a system maintenance). I suppose it can probably be effective if you buy many slots at the most strategic times, but I probably won't try it again.

I still think that the most effective campaign would be to illustrate that you've begun to think about what you will actually do and prove that you won't pull a taloncarde or UncleSamuel (unless he comes back). You can do that right here in this forum.

So if advertisement option is not useful, you think when you post in some league 3, which doesn't have any messages on their league forum, it will be useful? Those guys probably don't know in which league they exist, let alone read your message.

some people dont even know how to get to forums to be honest. Some just dont care about forums even though they are very active.

I dont use ad blockers because i know those help the site and dont bug me. If they were annoying popups id sure block but banners is a fair game.

I don't have the add-blockers because they bother me here, I have them because they are annoying EVERYWHERE else (in newspapers, pop ups, etc.)
