Does anyone know if you can use negative numbers in the hockey tactics setup?
So for example, could I use:
| Default Intensity @ start of game = LOW
|
| After 2nd period
|
| Trailing by...
| 3 to 99
| change to HIGH
|
| Leading by...
| -2 to 99
| change to NORMAL
Would that setup make my team switch to NORMAL if I'm losing by 1 goal heading into the 3rd period? Or what would happen?

I've been curious as to why different criteria is used for all-star team selection in football and hockey. In football, it's chosen by best performer in the position, and typically goes to best player/team in the league. In hockey, it accounts for comparative team strength and thus the all-star team ends up being less-talented players. Any plans to sync criteria up? Football selection makes more sense to me when talking about all-stars.
I agree. My goalie, who is arguably the 4th or 5th best, has the highest save percentage in the league and has 0 all-star selections and my defense has a total of 3 selections (2 for one defender, 1 for another). The goalie with the most all-star selections has a save percentage 6 points less, allows 4 more goals per game and plays on the 19th place team. Doesn't seem right to me.
It's the same thing in handball. I complained about it in those forums in depth. It makes zero sense to have all-stars that are consistently pulled from dead teams (or very weak teams) when those players are absolutely not all-stars in any definition of the word.
I imagine if they had interest in fixing it, they probably would've done so by now... but what do i know? maybe the turnaround time is a bit slower for "non-essential" fixes such as this?

I don't think they are developing hockey anymore. It seems like they are just trying to expand and create as many sports as possible.
yeah... i mean it's pretty simple economics. you don't make much more money from existing paying customers in one sport. But if you add a new sport, you can get new paying customers, who then might play hockey and pay there too.
I mean this team management system is fun and a great time passer, but in the end, the creators are all about the money. And who can blame them? They produce a great product.

so can someone explain how the league championships go. i ended up 10th so do i have a chance of winning the tournament
No. You are competing for 9th-16th. 1st-8th compete for championship.
Also in the playoffs if you end up 13th through 16th you have to play relegation games if their is a league below you.
I am a new team and in 18th place in III.1. I am currently playing the 19th place team for final placement. will autorelegate or is it likely that I will be pulled back up to III when zombie teams are consolidated? Is there a second round of playoff placement where I would play someone from the 17 v 20 seed playoff?
More than likely there will be a reorganization and you will find yourself in III again next season. This is an assumption based on number of IV teams, relative league activity, etc. You won't know for sure until closer to day 112 of the season, but it's a pretty safe bet.
If you win vs. the 19th seed, you'll play the winner of the 17 vs. 20 game to determine who is 17th place.

Thanks, I suppose that means I could end up in a different III, right?
