There doesn't seem to be a Q&A thread for soccer yet, so I may as well start one, and keep everything in one spot.
My question is in regards to suspensions. I was wondering what the cause of them is, and how to prevent or lower them. I didnt have a single one last season, yet Ive had about 3 or 4 already this season, and want to know is there a way to control them?

If you play an aggressive style, that definitely increases the frequency. I would imagine importance does as well.
As far as player attributes go, I would imagine Technique would improve things kinda like how technique improves penalties being taken in hockey. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It says this in the guide
" If a team is promoted to a league level in which it hasn't played before, its overall team rating will be reduced by only 20% at the end of the season. "
If you by chance demote and then promote again, it looks like you don't get the 20% only reduction to team overall, but does anyone know if you still get the promo money if you promote again. Sorry this sounds bay worded to me as but I hope I get my point of what I am asking.

I assume you still get the money. There's been nothing said about it that I've seen. They're not trying to punish normal players. They just want to stop OTR 'farmers' who promote and demote regularly.

Cluster your defenders near the middle and add in a defensive CM then put your SMs wide out and attack the flanks. Kind of like the image above the one on the bottom right www.clipart-box.com/zoom/...

I'll try that....I'll put my SM's obn the flanks with my forwards near them to be sure to have the pressure on the flanks!!!

I think what did you in was hurry up + possession. They kind of contradict each other. Possession is normally a slow game and long ball is quicker. Sorry it didn't work out.

Does the super league cup count as a international tournament and increase my sponsor money offers?!
Nope. Only gives you extra OTR for winning a SLC game vs a friendly.
Thanks. That's too bad, but understandable. Otherwise teams would fall down a league all the time.
Aren't suspensions supposed to be restarted for the new season? Oswaldo Stephen seems to be suspended for my game tomorrow....
Nope. Pretty sure league suspensions carry over. ChL and CWC do not.
