So... done a bit of research and:

"Best Team" - finsihed 11th after PO in II.1.

Ivan / Vlady... why the hell are these people being GIFTED top league positions when there are people who are in the correct lower leagues (ie. II.1) who deserve promotion over these guys.

This is absolutely disgusting and discredits those who spend time playing your game and give their time to build a solid team! Not only that, but by making this move, you have raised the bar in I.1 so those who finish lower are yet again, being screwed over and making it even harder to get higher in the leagues!

There are already people LOSING on purpose so they can drop down leagues because they can get more sponsor money and OTR from doing so... and now you do THIS?

Do you ever stop and wonder just why people are so negative or angry with PPM?

The sad thing is, you probably don't even care how this kind of move affects the people playing the game

only 9 of us left from last season?! Interested to see which of the new teams push for the top 8 this season. Fat penguins will do well i think but unsure of the others!

What this move successfully did was moved the Div I.1 averate OTR up to 317. That disadvantages people like me who are right now, about 40 OTR below that

As far as me and PPM are concerned, my faith in their ability to care about the people playing is at a minimum.

im in the same boat as you as far as OTR is concerned trueblue, the only way i can see myself getting my OTR increased long term is to make it into the CWC or CL. Which is a goal i almost achieved last season. Twill come mate. just keep winning

cant wait to see what everyones team strength is after the first game of the season tonight.

Am really interested to see where my team is at after putting in 5 new players (4 of which were 15 and one 16 until a few moments ago).

yea same here, very interested in team strengths. I also have a very different look to my team, each line has 1 new guy in it - wanted to balance out the chemistry loss. Also my defense has gotten very technical and want to see how they perform.

just looked at match schedule, my first 10 games are against new teams!

wow thats almost all of them - think there are 11 new teams out of 20.

yep and fat penguins are probably the best of the new ones and they are the 1 team that i don't get to play at the start. So potentially an easy start for me but who knows...

My first 8 are against new teams also.

Not too many changes to my squad. Moved my 4th line center to 2nd line and put my 3rd line RD on my 4th. lol

Vlady said that the teams that got promted to Div 1 were all teams from Div II with the highest OTR.

Problem is, they didn't take teams that finished in Div 2 last season, they took teams based on THIS new season, so people like Shysha314 who got promoted to Div II for this season ended up getting a free ride to Div I.

In short... the programmers screwed up, but it can't be undone and a) Div 1 teams have to play in a tougher league now and b) Div 2 teams that should have got promoted have to suck it up and be screwed over. (this paragraph is me paraphrasing).
