Last season worked in same way, or it was implemented this season ?

just make sure you wait till all players have aged (then you can be sure to pull the new players) as I recall last season the update was pretty late

Also, my first Sponsor negotiations are due. I have no idea what would be considered a good amount... any clues? I won my level 3, lost the playoff final but am in a promotion round I am almost certain to win, have around 160 team rating.

You'll be given a star rating for each offer and a recommendation from your HR dept. Definitely accept a 5 star and definitely turn down a 1 star. Personally I will turn down any 2 and 3 star offer too, but that's up to you.

I was in a similar position to you last year and got ~3.7m total of general sponsor and TV rights i think?

How high do you think you can train your players to with the main attribute? 100 maybe?
Then would you say the other attributes at 50?

I'm not sure I follow what you're asking with your question. I suspect you're asking what the highest possible attribute is, to which the answer is unlimited.
As for the ideal secondary attributes are for a primary 100 atty player. That is a highly debated subject with no clear 1 answer. Generally people agree it's best to have the secondary atty 45-75% of the primary. Personally I favor 52-67% of primary.

Hope that helps! I'd be curious to hear opinions of others on good training ratios.

You can train any attribute as high as you like I think. I'm aiming for secondary attributes to be about 50% - but that's only because it is easy to work out
