It appears that the injury rate for teams with no injuries is vastly greater than those with a current injury. This does not make sense. I understand you are trying to keep it so managers do not drop below a certain number of players, but it is ridiculous to see one player return and the next day another go out.

Every now and then, yes this is fine and to be expected, but it is nearly every time from what I see. I imagine that the rate is 25% or higher for those clubs without injuries, and then drops down to what - 5%? I rarely have 2 injuries. This is silly.

Injuries are not dependent upon each other, so the rates should not be so vastly different. For protection, the "Zero injury rate" should be within 5% points of the "One injury rate".

I used to think this also, but i've not seen it to be the case across the board. It would be good if we could gather some kind of data on this as you're right, if this is in fact the case, it's not good.

I checked my own injuries for this season, and I had 7 occasions where I had a player return from injury to make my team have none. Here are my results:
New injuries:
Same Day: 2 times
1 day later: 1 time
2 days later: 3 times
3 days later: 1 time
More than 3 days: None

Others in I.1 have corroborated this as well. I don't think we really need data, I think we need the developers to check their code.

except the only people who are providing data are the people complaining therefore its skewed. I have gone a week with no injuries then had several clustered. So my data contradicts yours.

People are too quick to declare things in this game based on limited samples. You have given the injury chances based on nothing except what you think without having a clue as to what the code actually is.

Which is a better use of everyone's time? Gathering massive amounts of data over months and number of people or having a programmer look to see what the code is for the injury setting.

I know how data analysis works, TYVM, I do data anaylsis for a frickin living. So I know when you should, and when you should not do analysis. There is no reason to have data analysis if someone can just answer the question. If the rate is not highly skewed, then so be it. If it is highly skewed, then it needs to be fixed.

Lets leave the data analysis for pieces of the game where it is useful, like powerplays, finding appropriate ratios of skills and such that are meant to be figured out.

This isn't something we need to "figure out", this is something that needs to be looked at.

The problem is, it either wont be or will be but we wont hear anything about it. That's how it's always been... that's WHY people do their own analysis, because it's the only type of results/data we can go with.

The problem is when people use small sample sizes of data to tell the programmers they need to look at something. If they go look down every blind alley they won't get anything done.

LOL - you just defined "bug reports" and said that programmers shouldn't follow those leads.

Doesn't matter now - I got basic confirmation of what I saw but they feel they are doing the best they can for now.

If nothing else I hope they can learn from mistakes which are in this game, and at present not to be fixed. They can then hopefully not make them in futbol. It's small consolation for us playing hockey however.

Bugs are replicated many times and confirmed before programmers look at them. I hardly define a few people's injury misfortunes as confirmation.
