Server crash
Hello friends,
I bring some bad news and some good news. I will start with the bad news. Our server crashed last night and it damaged our last backup file. The game was down for several hours and it seemed like your user accounts were lost. Fortunately we have been able to use the backup from yesterday and your hockey teams and user accounts have not been affected at all. We have also moved the deadlines of players on the market so that they could be sold. However, we have lost the users who have registered within about 23 hours before the crash happened. All of this means that no harm was done to any of you and those who have been lost may register again if they are willing to play the game. This is the first time that we had a problem as serious as this. We firmly believe that this will not happen again.
The good news is that we will soon implement the loan system. You will be able to borrow money provided you have enough manager experience. That is another new thing. You get experience by simply playing the game. For every day that you visit your team you get a point. For inactivity of 3 days you lose a point. The more experience you have, the more money you can borrow. Experience will also allow other things in the future like voting for national team manager or being a candidate for this position.
Finally I would like to apologize in the name of the whole PPM development team for the troubles caused by the server crash. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have a nice day
Vlady
