The player "almost" reached the endline which means he didn't reach it, he could have been several feet/meters away..... which means there is room for another player to be called offside. Quite simple really.

Dont know what you are talking about? Last 10 matches that i looked you got some wins some more looses and 1 or 2 draws. And you team is weaker that all of those teams... So i dont see your problem.

sounds like me in season 1... rolled through playoffs then hit a wall in the finals game 2... lost that in OT... lost game 3 big time and got smoked in promo/releg round.
LOL in season 1 of hockey my player energy was about that... but learned real fast.
I do play normal a lot in soccer though, but have to now as there are 4 teams fighting for those top 3 spots... and only 2pts between 2 and 4, so can't afford to lose any.
