Asunto: Next Sport

The only reason why handball has that many is because when they announced it as the next sport everyone signed up for it, before that basketball had plenty more which goes to show just how far ahead it is in front of handball.

That and also what Invictus said about programming (they already have a good base in hockey and football) which will be easy to make a new similar sport. Because of that similarity they will make it faster than any other sport so they might be able to lunch it before January (at least beta version).

Anyway, when it starts, feel free to ask me more about this game, as I watch it and know a lot about it...

The reason that there isn't that much difference could be that all users know that handball is next on the list.. so almost all users registrated for that!

Handball is the best choice for me. People from countries where handball is not popular, don't understand popularity of the sport in certain other countries. Just like I would put baseball and american football below any other sport, snail races included.

With that said, I have a question. How will the league structure be from the beginning? Is everyone going to start in lower leagues and every season there will be one level above it?

No, most likely it will be same like in hockey and soccer. Some lucky and priviledged will start at the top divisions rest on the lower ones. You will most likely get some kind of question from the devs that would you like to start as high as possible or as low as possible.

I have allways find it more thrilling and rewarding to start as low as possible. And the learning process from the mistakes made in hockey seem now pay off in soccer.. Perhaps in next season i will be in first division..

I admit I was one of the people a little bit surprised when it was announced. However as I began listen to their reasoning I believe this was a reasonable choice. I have also decided to give it shot. I am not very familiar with game, but if so many people enjoy its obviously worth learning.

On a final note I realize that PM is concentrating its efforts on Europe as this its main market. I would hope that Asia in this sport follows the pathway of soccer and has its own Asian division for small countries.

The problem with Hockey has been that Asian countries since the beginning have had all their games played overnight in the All Other World" division. This has taken by far the best part of the game away from the Pacific Rim community. Is t any wonder this region has never grown?

Lets go Handball. Im very curious.
