Well, the point of the 8th seed is that even if you lose all of your playoff games, the lowest you'll finish is 8th, whereas dropping to 9th means you have to win 'em all to not drop any lower. Since playoff placement is worth such a large amount of money to the sponsors, I would gladly take the 8th seed and get stomped in every game.
I thought about playing VH against you but since Ack Attack caught you off-guard last week I figured you wouldn't make the same mistake twice and would play high against me. I'm not confident that my VH could beat your high so I just went VL to conserve energy and concede the loss. Looks like a good decision, need to make sure I have energy as I may inevitably end up playing another relegation series.
yeah...both goalies melted down and the scorers went nuts...go figure. a little too randomized for me.
My goalie has been in a constant state of melting down all season.
Thats kind of what i figured but i didnt want to overestimate.. GG and GL on staying up
I have lived my Hockey through my son who played as a kid and now plays adult hockey. When I was a kid here in Montana we only had one place to skate and they would not allow hockey to be played on it. Got to see a few games on TV when I was young and fell in love with sport. Got to see my first live NHL game in 1975 in Atlanta. It was Atlanta vs Boston. I was stationed in the Washington D.C. twice for a total of 9 years and got to see a lot of games on TV and live. I remember my first Caps game was in 1976 against Philly Flyers at least 12 bus loads of people from Phillly came down for the game so there was more people in the stands cheering for them then the Caps.
I have always loved hockey but I had never played it until moving to Montana. Montana is the worst place on earth though, tell all your friends how horrible it is and that they never ever ever want to visit, especially in the terrible terrible summer.
I have always hated hockey... basketball baseball lacrosse and football are so much better. When I was a kid here in kansas I went to my first minor league game in Topeka. It was boring and havent gone back. With saying that I have come to enjoy hockey a little more now that I have my own players. I love coaching and PPM allows me to coach and manage a sports team in realt time. I LOVE THIS site so much. From a small town in KS- The only hockey i played growing up was on roller blades on a tennis court.
