Nah... 7 teams are set. And it will be a battle between Runny and River Rats for the 8th spot. All the rest smoking in the corner...
I went 0-2 against Westchester this season...doesn't look good for me if I meet up with him in the playoffs!
I'll do my best to see if you don't meet up with them. lol.... no promises though
I agree. It would be hard for River Rats or I to lose our spots to someones else with the schedules we have left. LOVE that my last game is with him- will be one for the ages.
Looking at those schedules, I'd say 8th is probably yours for the taking. The Rats have a harder schedule.
I have to stay alive just to lose in the playoffs first round..... (famous rant)
lol. just for that...i'll set my importance to very high...play my mains every game...and let the scrubs get slaughtered in the playoffs.

Either way, can you guys make sure to get slaughtered? I mean, I want to continue on so I can eventually get slaughtered by either Faketown or Westchester, teams I traditionally have trouble with.

All i promise to do is put my starting goalie back in when the playoffs start after resting him for like 3 weeks to save energy muwahaha
I doubt I'll trouble you much with all the energy I've burned on regular season games. On that note, my team has been playing out of its' mind lately - coach told em he wanted to make the playoffs this season, and now somehow, we're in 2nd!
Looks like I'll at least be able to hold off being relegated, and hang around II.3, I hope my team is more competitive next season- this was just brutal this year.
Yeah, lots of guys with low 80s, a couple of first liners with 78. But it's worth it because I'm already guaranteed to finish higher in both the regular season and playoffs than last season. Being highly seeded in the playoffs greatly increases my chance to get a first round victory too, which is an automatic 4th place playoff finish or better.
