Asunto: PPMe: Suggestions and Fixes

Some french guys complain that ever since the new version of PPMe whenever they are on the market page or players profiles (bidding) all goes very slow they miss bids or almost...

What could be done?

Do they have PPMe on for individual player's profiles? Can always turn that off and it should act as it would nominally without PPMe.

Yes but by the way if you're on the market and it slows down then what's the point of using it?

Use it on the market, but when you go to a player's profile page turn it off. Also, PPM (not PPMe) is notorious for having a lag in their clock if you have multiple tabs open. This may not be PPMe. Many times if I have a tab open with a player who I'm looking to buy and I then start looking through another tab with GMail or something, over a couple hours the deadline will be something like 1:20:00 when it should be 1:15:00. Get them to try it in a new window. When on the player's profile who is for sale, turn PPMe off on that page and it shouldn't slow it down at all.

The wrong time on market been happening for years imo. With or without PPMe.

My PPMe is also having some problems with the market: prntscr.com/4sm11h , in hockey and handball - i'm using Firefox.

Is it maybe possible to have an older version of PPMe installed (and not have it auto-update), the one before the draft features and all this, with just market and player overview tools? I installed one about two weeks ago but it never showed up to work even though the addon was active, i think i used this link addons.mozilla.org/sl/fir...

I think one version was like 97.xx or something, that worked great for me , this one seems to make my PPM browsing a bit slower

Installed again this one today hoping the market bug from last time was fixed as i saw your post few pages back saying it was repaired

Indeed, seems I only implemented the fix for one sport. -_- I probably wasn't that awake at that particular moment. Fixed it for all sports now. Expect an update in about an hour.

Fixed this in the new version as well. Mistake on my part.

On the roster page for the US national hockey team I don't have the PPMe button. However, the space for it is there as there is a large void between the help button and my current money.

When I install on Firefox I get the screen about donating, but it has no buttons to dismiss it and refreshing the page just makes it come back again. It's not possible to use PPM at all at the moment, let alone PPMe.

okay, so I had it working on chrome. Then I had to do a system restore, and now it will not work on any browser. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it for IE8. and it only changes the width of the page like it is trying to work but nothing happens.
I have also tried to reinstall for chrome but chrome says it is already added and wont let me download again.
I have tried shutting down my Norton protection to install it.
and I cant seem to uninstall chrome to start over and I keep getting a message saying "close chrome... even though it isn't open.... and try again.

I cant think of any thing else to try.

Go here in Chrome, remove it, then reinstall.
