you cant fire them because you'd drop below the minimum allowed
I guess you had someone else higher up in the list of subs probably with no position setting. The system takes the first available player from the list.
Yes i re-read the guide few mintes after posting here. Would it be possible to implement the system to first check if there is a substitute with set position and if not then picking the first player with "-"? Or just be able in lineup settings to drag players up or down?
you can move players up and down the list by clicking their little jersey icons.
I tried/am trying, but it's not working for me; maybe its PRO pack function only?

works for me in that browser. maybe you have some special settings.
Maybe, also tried in IE and it's not working there either. I guess i'll have go without it. Thanks for the help

Now that WC groups are set, looks like there is some kind of bug regarding next week game...
France had a friendly game planned against Brazil on the 19th of April but now WC starts on the same date but against Poland for us...
If I checked France schedule here you can see this:

If I checked Brazil schedule here you can see our friendly is still planned here:

Same for some other nations like Danemark which has planned a friendly game against UK (seen in UK schedule) but starts WC on the same date against Ukraine (seen on Danemark schedule)...
Seems like 20:00 games in the World Championships will end with a draw..
