That shows as “other” for me. I have no expenses for the line this season, so it happened in a previous season.
I’ll try and remember to post a screenshot tomorrow. Can’t right now, I’m on my phone.

Hmm, I have some fines from previous seasons, too:

(extra player fees go to OTHER)
I can't remember what that would be either. There is nothing about it in the guide. I'm pretty sure arena damage goes into the maintenance line.
i'm also not sure what compensations are. I don't remember ever letting a RFA walk...

In other news, tomorrow is going to be a special day! As far as I can remember, it's the first time since I've been in I.1 that I'm not facing the Chubby Fat Guys in round 1 of the playoffs! (Pretty much only thanks to GBB going bot, but shhh.)
Funnily enough, I just checked hockey and I've had 0 Fines total, for playing a good bit longer than handball.
Could it have something to do with red cards and suspensions?

I don't know what fines are, but I have one idea: if they felt that a transfer was excessive, they can reduce the amount of the transfer. I figure they would have notified you in the news area, but maybe they didn't? Just a guess.
I believe compensations are what you pay to a player when you cut them and they have some contract left.

I have checked all three other sports as well, and have no record of any fines since day one. I will be checking weekly finances to try to identify the source when it occurs next time.
Other is primarily where excess player fees go. There are no fines for RC or YC in soccer. Excessive transfer fines don't get put there either, they just trim the money from the receiver. The only "Other" in my finances for today maps 1:1 to excess player fees.
I sold a bunch of my older more expensive contracts and my team finances really improved.
It's hard to find much of anything on the market though!

Yeah, markets a lot weaker in handball than in hockey unfortunatwlt
He’s one of my favourite handball players I had. Glad he went to a good home!
I finished 3rd?! What is this sorcery?! O_o
(probably helped that canucks has sold a bunch of players recently, eh?)
But OMG, that was a turnover fest on my side! I get that Rhodes is outclassed (He's 20 yo, what do you expect) but geez! He has 141 TOs total this season (the next highest player is at 108, then it goes to 93 and 78), 16 of those in the last 3 games only! Wow.
Looking at those season stats... does anyone else have 50+ 2 min calls for your defensive pivot? (24 for my offensive pivot, then it goes below 20 for most other players). Is that normal? He's one of my veterans, too. Maybe due to the high Agr stat?
