Um, I make about 36M on payday (+ 8.5M per full stadium home game - tickets and souvenirs x 3 home game per week)
= 70M/week
Daily expenses are about 8.5-9M /day
3.6M in player salaries
2.3M in staff
2.3M on maintenance (facilities and arena)
.4M on too many players
= 63M /week
for a net balance of about 7M a week.
+ 8-9M twice per season in ranking bonus, and maybe 5M in player stats bonus.
it's not a huge profit, but it's viable. and you finished higher than me last season so I would assume your sponsor money is probably a bit higher than mine.
I have more staff than I should, probably xD But I have found, especially for coaches and sporting directors, that training my own is easier than trying to snipe one off the market every time the other ones are about to retire xD (if only cuz the one I'll train myself will last longer cuz they start younger xD)

You can compare to other teams across the game who voluntarily submit data here:

I have been doing so for many seasons. If you click the pie chart you can see my expenses evolution. Some of the lower-ranked I.1 teams in other countries have expenses > revenues.

The giants haven’t logged in since March 23rd. Sucks that handball is dying like it is. I wish they’d merge Canada and the US or something.
That's a great idea! I would love a North American league (where we still each have our respective national teams). The US currently has 37 teams; 64 teams sounds like a good number (unfortunately it's a super-awkward number in that you'd have to have a third division, and that might be made up of mostly empty leagues). I wonder if they'd consider it given it's not a substantive change in gameplay (at least I don't think it is?).
The thing is, with the current number of Canadian teams atm, we can hardly manage to fill a competitive NT lineup for the U19 and U21...
I don't know how I would feel about having to share with the USA, though xD

If leagues were joined NTs would still be separate.
Haha I understand. I'd still want the national teams separate, but man it would be so fun and competitive to have US-Canada leagues together. It'd be like soccer with respect to North America or Europe or Asia. I'm not a programmer, so this may be naive, but I suspect it wouldn't be very difficult to pull that off.
wouldn't that mean that we'd be stuck trying to be more competitive, meaning teams would keep even less promising young guys over trying to keep themselves in I.1 so they can afford to even have young players to train in the first place? Wouldn't that just kill our NT, if we don't get some more players to pick out of?
It would also up the OTR of the leagues and increase the number of league levels, resulting in more sponsor money... yielding better facilities and players. I think that's a bigger effect than teams selling youngsters to be competitive. Look at my hockey and soccer teams. Both are very competitive and my soccer team is basically the top recruiting team for the NTs. Mind you, I pay through the nose for this.
I love it! Of course, I'm not Canadian, nor do I speak for anyone in the US but myself, but how do we get this done anyway? lol
Close your eyes, say "Vlady" three times, and open them. About the same odds of working as anything else XD
From a programmer's perspective: it depends how the structure to manage leagues/countries/teams is built. If teams can be associated to a league regardless of country in the background (which I believe they should), then it's only a matter of pooling us into new leagues under a new banner. The rest of our teams stay the same.
I'm just not sure how that'll work for new players, though. Are they going to be forced to pick a bot team to replace?
