Well, that first match of the season didn't go very well. I should've had the upper hand, especially playhing normal/vh vs low (regardless of the fact I was beat by the defensive tactics in the 2nd half)

Funny thing, I was considering deleting my handball team not long before I made a few changes and ended up winning my league and getting promoted.

Because I play dedicated offensive and defensive squads I can get away with playing at VH most of the time. And if I even want a chance to wins some games up here I am going to have to play at VH

I play dedicated offensive and defensive lineups, as well as sub in younger/older players from time to time depending on my opponent. By the playoffs last season my guys were at ~65 energy and my team rating suffered IMMENSELY (my better goalie alone had dropped from a 205 rating down to 135, team rating is 156 right now, it was 120 at the end of last season with a lineup that had more chemistry, exp and OR), and that was only playing maybe a third of my games on VH, a good number on variable intensity depending on outcome, and most friendlies on VL.

There were a number of really close games at the end of last season. Had I managed the tiredness just a bit better, I might've ended up one position higher.

I guess my advice is: choose your battles. The top 3 teams (Jedis, Giants, Teslas) are basically untouchable, so you may as well keep your energy for closer matchups
